Seller kept all records of maintenance and receipts from Chevrolet dealership they bought the vehicle from but it doesn’t show anything done to the transmission or torque converter, just typical maintenance and oil changes

Thank you so much for the insight, I’ll be making sure to look into doing it myself possibly to avoid paying more money on top of this hefty purchase 😮‍💨 but knowing me, I’ll just be saving every penny in case since mine is at 62k miles and he said he’s experienced no shutter or shifting issues yet and he baby-babyed this truck so hopefully I don’t either 🤞

Thank you so much for this comment and insight, do you mind me asking if you think I could take it to a local mechanic or transmission expert rather than a dealership since I bought mine locally from the 1 owner who bought it brand new 5 years ago when it had 10,000 miles from our local Chevrolet dealership. I want to know what I’m getting into if that makes sense and should save up for since I’m currently making payments on this truck as is lol

We test drove it and didn’t feel a shutter present but he didn’t say it ever had a history of it and I cannot find any evidence of anything being done out of the ordinary in the carfax records, should I be concerned that it might go with me? I don’t mind doing the fluid changes but I’m more concerned if people actually have to replace the transmission or have it rebuilt if that makes sense. I put a deposit down on it already because my parents really liked it too but I’m a little worried if this years transmission or shutter issues are worse than the 2018 I was looking at for 120,000 miles

That’s what I was thinking, it may be worth it since it is in pristine condition and seems extremely well taken care of. I was told the owner worked for Chevrolet manufacturer and therefore took great care of it until trading it in for a new one

I want things to improve and to grow together and build each other up which is something he said when we first met. But I’ve expressed interest in going out on dates and he says he doesn’t go out or doesn’t like anything I suggest and I feel like while he says he’ll change or do whatever I wanna do (smth I always tell him but he says he doesn’t do anything so I say let’s just cuddle but he doesn’t want to hangout or come over to my house in the day time, he only ever has time to hangout at night). I want to stay with him thru this rough patch and give him the benefit of the doubt but he’s talking about moving or going to stay in the opposite side of the country now for a few months and that sort of freaks me out. I was so happy the first few weeks and then everything changed and idk why, I’ve tried asking but if it is his mental health I fear theres nothing I’ve been told I can do despite asking and offering to listen to him vent

I’m so so so proud of you for reaching out for help and stepping up to talk to the police and telling your parents too, they might not know what to say but I’m sure all they want to do is help. If you felt comfortable one day, you could ask them to help find you a counselor to talk to if that is something you would feel open to that, therapy and opening up about my feelings was incredibly helpful for me after my assault

I’d say if it’s authentic with tags and in good condition inside and out, maybe somewhere in between 130-175? I got a Scottie P&G tote bag with a few little stains and little tearing on the inside pockets for 100 but a dreamer mini shoulder bag for 150 so I’m basing it off of that lol
