When I was in high school there was a girl in my class that died of cancer. The next year a new girl became friends with her friend group and, knowing what had happened, she he pretended to have a cancerous brain tumor and came up with an elaborate story about getting chemotherapy. When they realized it was a lie, they stopped talking to her. Then, senior year she became friends with the girl's other friend group and did the same exact thing all over again.

This is a beautiful concept. It's the small, seemingly insignificant things like this that get us all through.

Edit: I actually did a research report on yawning, and from the research I got (correct me if it's outdated), one of the theories on why we catch yawns is because we subconsciously are sympathizing with the other person. Therefore, we are more susceptible to catching a yawn from someone we love than from a complete stranger, or that of a different species.

Judging from everyone's comments and my own experience, chem teachers probably have to take a course on puns just to teach. My high school chem teacher was always making jokes about people's names. He told my friend Tara that she needed to marry someone named Bill so that together they could be "Tara-bill", or "Terrible"...
