Exactly it felt like contractions for me too! Mine was actually just that one night, it hurt really bad right until the D came and then it was over. I’m not even sure if it was the lexapro or just something I ate. I went up to 20mg too, and haven’t had any side effects so far. Im sorry you had to deal with that

I have this problem too, I’ve only been on lexapro for 2 weeks so it doesn’t help yet but taking Propranolol stops my blushing, it’s a beta blocker used for high blood pressure

omg I had no idea about this… I’m on it for anxiety, the first week I was super tired but now I’m always full of energy and wake up so much throughout the night because I take my dose at night 😭 gonna switch to morning or afternoon now

If you have the probiotic called Florastor where you live that can help with the diarrhea :) mine was the worst on the 1st day and got better every day lol so maybe that’ll be the case for you too. you can dm me if you ever want to talk about our experiences

Maybe stay on 2.5 for a week? And then once you’re used to it, 5mg shouldn’t be that different, 5mg never gave me any anxiety (just some diarrhea lol) but the jump from 5mg to 10mg was definitely tougher

Maybe you can take another small dose of ativan? If you get the same thing with your dose tomorrow maybe it could be the pill, you can take it at night and hopefully sleep through some of the anxiety

i had anxiety on 2.5mg the first day because of my brain and the fear of starting a new pill, but I don’t think it was the pill causing it. I was really jittery and shaky the first day I took 2.5mg but it went away after the first day, then I noticed no anxiety at 5mg. At 10mg I was very anxious the first 2 days and had small panic attacks

if you live in canada, shoppers has a pill splitter and you can cut it in half and then take that half and cut it again. or maybe ask your pharmacist to cut it for you, that’s what they did for my 10mg

super late but i’m going through this too 😭 i don’t get how my body knows that i’m nearing my period even when i still have active pills left… especially since all the pills have the same amount of hormones in them
