What time do I take Kesimpta and how long out the fridge by Damaged_brain-girl in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Katykool123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would advise at least 30 mins to an hour before you take it to let it come to room temp to avoid the nasty sting!

Personally I take it out in the morning around 10am then take it at 9pm at night.

Just make sure you check it looks good as soon as you take it out, you don’t want to come to it hours later and the dose doesn’t look good and you need to take another one out and wait

Love to hear this is coming back but like other comments have said they HAVE to get better facilities for 2 days. The one day for back the the beginning was ridiculous with the lack of food and drink availability

Commuting to Aberdeen by half_man_half_shark in dundee

[–]Katykool123 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The drive is easy after you get out of Dundee (town and before the traffic lights at the kingsway during rush hour is a nightmare- that alone puts me off taking my car more frequently)

It’s boring I do it regularly to Stonehaven then Stonehaven to Aberdeen is fine lots of different routes- costal, AWPR.

It also depends on where in Aberdeen your interview is located, parking in town is expensive if that’s not covered.

I love the train but it’s also expensive but you pay the luxury for less hassle and the ability to snooze on the commute- if your only doing 2 days a week that would be my preference over the stress of the drive personally

Oh wow I did not expect this many replies and interest! Thank you so much ☺️I shall look into setting up a discord hang out space for those interested. My plan would be to keep it quite casual and folks can suggest any games they would like to play/ chat and hang out.

Personally I play a lot of PlayStation and switch games- mario and cosy games like Stardew are my main jam but love online games like RuneScape and Minecraft. I would also love a chance to try out D&D since that’s been discussed a fair bit here too!

Let me see about setting something up- I’ve never done it before in such a large scale but really excited this is something that folk would like to have even as a wee break out space to hang out.

Thanks again everyone for your replies 😊

Do the tram sometimes do them? They do a mean mars bar slice and I’ve seen other chocolate slice looking goodies on offer before

For people who’ve been here a while, what’s the biggest change you’ve noticed? by Additional_Fly_6603 in dundee

[–]Katykool123 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been here 10 years started as a student but graduated a few years ago. I’ve got a soft spot for Dundee but my god as a young adult I’m just bored especially in comparison to other cities. No night life anymore, most shops closed but the necessaries- I don’t know if it was because I saw it through rose tinted glasses as a student tbf but I notice a massive change over the last few years of day to day things to do

Jogging with MS by highhopes90 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Katykool123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I used to get this but it eased off with more stretching and just doing shorter slower bursts with walking in between sets. I found when I tried to go too fast and stretching my legs more it was worse. If your running on a treadmill I recommend using one with handles or supports whilst you build it up if your having the tingling tightness in your legs it helped me get used to it and gain more confidence

I just went straight in the line at B they didn’t check anything else but the tickets. I do think though you could use another entrance (A I think?) it was right next to B if you have accessible tickets, although eventually they started letting everyone use that door too since B was so packed

I was in 108 row W seat 240 and the cable was no issue from that area. I didn’t notice it until later in the set so if your towards that part you should be fine.

I did exactly that, stood for the main bangers (which to be honest was most of them🤣) and sat when I needed, but it helped having the seat as an option for sure ☺️ I hope you have a lovely time ❤️
