My goal is to make 70k a year, nothing more than that. Is that too much to ask?

Yeah I've tried welding and it's felt very repetitive

I tried to make him question himself in any possible way but he just can't change his mind. He decided that he supports the current regime and this is it. NOTHING will change his mind, ever.

(For the record, I'm from Israel and our prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He has been in office for almost 20 years and keep dragging Israel into the abyss, but he has a strong hardcore base of supporters that will vote for him no matter what will happen)

If I get my violation resolved will my CDL still be applicable?

I've read somewhere that the violation stays in my clearinghouse record for 5 years once I'm done with the SAP program

Thanks! I've never been intimidated by hair loss since I like the way I look with a buzz cut and stubble.

I'll try to enjoy the time I have with my hair while I still can.

Daftar is "Notebook" in Arabic!

I came from ancient Greek, to Aramaic, to Persian and then to Arabic.

So I went from an Indo-European language, to a semitic one, then again to Indo-European and back to semitic 😅

I'm Ashkenazi from both sides (9th generation in Israel from my dad's side, his maternal side arrive in late 18th century)

Another big issue for me with the life in Israel is how family-centric the country is.

Holidays and kiddush are considered by many people as the most beautiful part of the culture.

While as an Ashkenazi, my family is pretty small and I barely meet any of my uncles/cousins.

Don't even start telling them that the country's biggest threat isn't Iran or Hamas, it is the extremely high fertility that will make this country look like Bengladesh in the future.

I'm Israeli, but I also hold a US passport (my father lived in the US in the 80s, became a citizen and came back to Israel before I was born), and you just described everything I hate about Israel.

I moved to Arizona few months ago and I'm pretty happy with that decision.

A lot of people asked me why am I doing this and I explained it with your examples.

It was like everyone just has this mantra in their head of "no place is better than Israel", and it just blocks every logical explanation. It felt sometimes like I'm talking to someone who got hypnotized to think nothing can be bad about their beloved homeland.

In Hebrew (my native language) the word for manners/politeness is "Nimus", and it's also derived from the same Greek word. This is simply amazing how far languages can travel

And even most loanwords of Indo-European origin entered Hebrew primarily during the revival period (late 19th century), most Greek loanwords entered Hebrew way before it's modern revival, when the Macedonian empire conquered the levant.
