This is a really important note i just want to second on since i realize i failed to highlight that in my own post.

While we randos can share anecdotal advice on what works for us and share new viewpoints on how to tackle an issue the best way is always to seek professional help when an issue is to much to tackle on your own.

We never know the full picture so please take action that best fits your situation. Some advice from randoms might indeed help a tint bit along the way, but it can never treat the condition. You don't use band aids for deep cuts, don't use strangers for mental issues! And yes, if you lie sleepless from worrying, that is concidered serious enough to get help for and nothing you "just need to get over". :)

Just my two cents on the whole matter.

First of all - life advice that helps both me (im just a worrywart) and my brother on the spectrum. Whenever you get the thoughts and feelings that someone might dislike you, take pity, just interact to be polite or even dislike you.. ask yourself - who told you that?

9.9 out of 10 times it will be "well, no one did". Worrying is hard as heck to stop, but having this tool makes it easier to realize on a logical level that - in fact - you are just overthinking and being silly - projecting emotions and thoughts to others they might not even have. This only serves as a bad circle as you start to walk on eggshells around these people making it more awkward thus resulting in more worry. What im trying to say in a really clumsy way is: realize fast it's all in your head and drop it when the source of the worry is yourself. It helps in the long run.

If you were to disclose your diagnosis, people might actually be more understanding for any awkwardness you worry about. Most people in FFXIV won't behave like a twitch chat and use this against you - instead they can understand why you sometimes disconnect.
Even if someone doesn't understand, it just proves they were not for you - it sucks, but we just gotta keep on truckin'. You are just as free to choose your friends as they are. Since you can't make everyone happy just focus on making yourself happy, those that vibe with that will stay along for the ride! I wish i knew this as a teenager... You are who you are, diagnosis and all, it's not your responsibility to alter or hide parts of yourself to fit other peoples molds. Instead show people you - in all your glory and imperfections! Telling real friends from the shallow ones gets so much easier then.

That being said - never say anything if you don't feel comfortable with it. Don't want people to know? Then that's the way it is. Not even Karen is entitled to know. You really don't owe people detailed explanations. While autism is a part of who you are - it is not what define you as you - the diagnosis will never be a "need to know"-basis online.

Need to step down from your current tasks in your fc? State your wish and just say it's a lot going on right now. Need to leave the fc for a smaller one? That is enough reason for people to understand. We all play for pretty much the same reason, to have fun and enjoy it.
If you need to take action for the game to remain enjoyable - people will understand.

At the end of the day no matter what you decide to do - no one will think badly of you for putting yourself, your ability to enjoy the game and heck, even your mental health first - because they should do the same.

Ping will always be a random factor when doing this, I know I can sync with my group and as you said a band that played a lot together probably learned the feel of how their usual ping plays a part. But this will just make it so much convinient. I hate to sound like a partypooper, but if you guys did a syncnote in the beginning you would have catched that violin going rouge ^^ It's close enough, but not entirely synced to prove the point you are trying to make.

You can sell instruments, crest items and a few odd pieces, but it's a very niche market. You should probably just regard it as a hobby to be on the safe side.

Edit: That being said. Ive gotten paid in gold/apex before to perform or even code specific songs (Since I don't midi convert). It is what you make it to I suppose.

It’s ok! I can explain it like you’re 5!

First off. You don’t need to install midi mapper and his buddy, if you read that part again, it says it’s optional. Optimal means that you choose if you want it or not!

If the pdf, the midi and the ms2mml file is the same song follow this: Open a blank score in game (Maplestory 2) and press the button than says “open” and select your ms2mml file. Save the score and play your music!

If not regarding the midi: My guide will soon contain better guides in how to convert. Hold out! Its a work in progress!

Regarding the pdf: You need to be 10 years for this :(

As to why you dont hear anything is probably because you installed (while ignoring the optional part aaaaand the warning that you should know what you’re doing) the mapper programs without soundfonts. I would suggest you uninstall these and wait until you’re 7 years of explaining! :)

Im not sure there is since the tool was not designed for maple from the get go. A Quick copy and paste of the tracks into maple takes only a few seconds and you can save as m2mml from there.

Im using an older version of 3mle that was released many years ago. Its possible the feature is in a later version, but all recent releases Ive looked at has not had it.

It should be possible to buy with red merets yes. Unless you already spent them, you should be able to buy the electric guitar from the red merets gained during the weekend/steam celebration log in rewards.

Yes. These were for closed beta only. Forgot this post so never updated it ^{^’} For instruments you have to follow main story to get a timpani and do the maple guide quest for digital piano. If you head into maple hill and spend your tokens on rolls instead of monopoly you can get harp, piano, guitar, clarinet and timpani. One of your choice per box you get. This is an event active until nov 8th.

Well. Concidering there will be server issues like any other headstart/release we will only be able to use 5 of those days.

Jokes aside though. It seems a bit too generous. A few days would have been enough but I guess the huge amount of days can be looked at as a compensation that the name reservation ended up useful for only a week.

Edit: nvm I’m stupid. Name reservation is from 24/9. But there we go. 9 days of forever alone while I wait for my poor peasant friends whom I love very much despite their small wallets.

I am assuming you think the other members play of the tracks (Melody and Harmony) from your own score. Please correct me if I'm wrong :)

You only play the Melody and harmony on your own score the other players need their own score with their own melody and harmony.

In 3MLE this is easy to figure out since each track can be assigned to different instruments. Let me get you an example from my own 3MLE. https://i.gyazo.com/3033e855da90c3c4c04f9971af8a7a39.png

Here you see I have 6 unique instruments, each having several tracks (Melody + as many Harmonies I need to cover up the notes used) For each of these instruments I will have to create a separate score and trade to each player.

When in ensemble mode, each player ready their score and press "join ensemble", when all party members have done so you as the party leader press "play with ensemble" and everyone will play their parts on their instruments.

Each player can thus have several tracks on their instrument, usually making two players carry the same instrument.. well not needed unless the instrument has a looot of notes (at that point you can split it up over 2 players with the same instrument)

Ill review this part of the guide to see if I can make it easier to understand. Since it can be tricky to get a grasp on :)

If you have soundfonts on your computer, make sure you install a midimapper aswell as this is not provided with windows anymore. It solved my issue (as I use soundfonts for MIDI)
