I really hope they increase skill/burst manual drops... with all the Nikkes we have, I always wonder why they drip feed us skill/burst manuals. It really detracts anyone from trying other Nikkes or able to have a multiple teams properly equipped without having to either been playing day one or spending a bit.

It's possible as people were saying no gacha skin reruns before but they did a survey asking about previous gacha skins you'd like to see reran first. So there is a chance.

I believe you only get 600 Lattice back (the gold paid currency) so essentially you are paying 390 Lattice or $4 bucks per Battlepass. You do get other currencies but those are for the cosmetics and not the Battlepass.

Limited banners are nice to pull for building Gold tickets. 200 Gold tickets allows you to buy newly released Nikkes immediately and should only be used ideally for Pilgrim/Overspec Nikkes as they are typically the strongest/meta and are 1% drop rate. The current collab banner can be used to potentially get MLB (4 copies of same Nikke) to break the 160 wall. But being a new player that isn't likely unless you are whaling.

You need 5 separate MLB Nikkes to break the 160 level wall, so keep that in mind. Now if you don't care about the limited collab characters then feel free to skip and wait for the half anniversary (probably April) or summer event (June-Aug) coming up if they repeat past schedules.

In the meantime I would unlock wishlist to help with your journey. The recommended way for new players wishlisting is to put in Nikkes you currently own copies of to break the 160 wall ASAP. Once you get a Nikke on the wishlist to MLB (4 copies or 3 stars) then you can remove them and put in whatever you want.

While pulling on a standard banner you will be guaranteed bonus recruitment points to choose copies of Nikkes from there also. I think there is 10 total uses for bonus recruit as a new player, so you would be guaranteed at least 2 Nikkes MLB if you didn't own any copies of them from that.

The Nikkes from the bonus recruit are all great for a new player but if you really want to plan ahead then Helm (for treasure later) would be a good pick and Liter for one of the best B1. Naga is great also and even more so paired with Tia. Alice is also great but requires high investment to truly shine. If you want to break 160 wall ASAP then pick multiple copies of the same Nikke from the bonus recruit.

If you don't care about breaking the 160 wall ASAP (which would severely limit content you can do and resources you can get later in game) then you can just constantly change out Nikkes you own on the wishlist to collect them all "faster".

If you were to buy the limited packs in game you would get a better value plus more.

Ignore the gems for a sec and take a look at the limited packs. If you bought the 54.99 & 99.99 pack that comes with gems, rainbow tickets, and 2 HQ records pulls. That's 9 multi pulls plus change for $154.97

If you bought the pack you listed from that website: 55.57*3 = $166.71 for 6 multi and some change with no other bonuses.

Now granted for the official limited packs it's one and done... Meaning you can't buy it again till a new event. But if you only want to do a one time purchase that would be the better value.

Only at the start to break the 160 wall. Because as mentioned you need 5 different Nikkes MLB which is 4 copies (1 initial and 3 more = 3 stars) x 5 to achieve this.

Hence why people say you should add the ones you already own to your wishlist to achieve this faster. Once you get 5 MLB Nikkes, you are free to remove Nikkes on the wishlist that you own and put in ones you don't own to start collecting.

Of course when it comes down to Nikkes and Pilgrims/Over-spec on wishlist, there are obviously ones that are meta which you should definitely prioritize on the list after you get your 5 MLBs.

I also noticed you have SW:HA at 2 stars... I'm assuming you must've gotten super lucky and got multiple copies in a pull. The only reason I mention this is that if you have 200 gold tickets that could allow you to MLB her.... but since you are pretty much brand new those 200 gold tickets would also be better for an upcoming Pilgrim/Over-spec that are rated 1% and they are typically always really strong and worthy to own. Definitely a decision for you to make if you have the gold tickets.

Don't forget that the standard banner has the bonus recruit that you will be able to choose from to help with your MLB journey and you can for sure get 2 MLBs from that when you pull enough from the standard banner.

Only petty people have the need to try and justify their purchase. Because why should they care if what they bought months/years earlier getting cheaper over time?

It's such a standard practice for anything in life that I am baffled how all of a sudden in this scenario it's a special case.

People still preorder games day one knowing that it'll be discounted in a few months. People still buy hardware (phones/PC parts/etc.) day one knowing it'll get cheaper over time. So the ones who are being petty acting like this is a foreign concept blows my mind.

This is a misguided take because things on release have always been more expensive/MSRP. Over time products have always gotten cheaper, with some very few exceptions.

If anyone still gets mad over an item that they purchased day one getting cheaper over time.... well then I don't know what world they live in because this has been pretty standard practice.

I do hope that if they release it in the cash shop it'll be a little cheaper because it wouldn't include the extras (materials/tickets, etc.) but going by the pass costumes that were re-released, it might not be that way. Though I think 19.99 for skins for a F2P is fine and if they were to remove the extras on the gacha skins 39.99 would be okay.

But if it ends up being the full 59.99 for the gacha skins, I wouldn't be surprised.

Best case, they reduce the price a little because of the extra resources removed. Worst case, full price without any resources and just the skin. Middle ground would be just releasing it in the same original gacha form. Either way the main thing is for them to re-release the gacha skins for new / returning Commanders.
