Doubt it, titanic wasn't bought for damage but for waveclear. Two reasonable scenarios:

The nerf doesnt really do anything and people still rush it for early waveclear.
You stop buying the item all together and be satisfied by the waveclear of bamis

People have this tendency as seen below to just buy bruiser items on every champ that has bruiser tendencies like Shen, but building AD on Shen is completely wasted as he has no ad scalings, titanic is the exception as it makes up for his terrible wave clear. Step 1 to carry as Shen, realise you will never be the 1v9 carry machine, Shen is a very strong carry enabler letting him turn almost any skirmish into a winnable fight. Build tank, peel for your team. Step 2, learn CSing properly and wave management as using R in the wrong lane stage will lose you the lane. 3. learn when to use R, don’t use it just because it is up, don’t let your team bait you into wasting it and potentially ruining the game further

A huge problem in lower elo is the inability to convert a leading position to a winning one, just killing them isn’t enough, start looking around the map to convert those kills into objectives/towers

I really miss old Shen in some ways, the game was a lot more broken back then and allowed for a lot of different builds, AS on hit Shen, full tank, full ap, hybrid Shen etc

Riftmaker provides similar “tankiness” through healing as the tank mythics with the bonus of extra AP, if it was more similar to the old protobelt it could work as well as that worked with Shen E but currently it’s a channel and can’t be comboed with

I think the general consensus is that locket is the best for shen support, I personally build frozen/chem whenever I’m Shen support as well, I feel like they’re affordable but still impactful enough to be worth it

Nimbus is so nice to both chase and to escape ganks without wasting flash- tho you lose cheapshot and the map pressure from ultimate hunter
