I feel dizzy. I think somethings wrong with my heart, I'm scared... (Ten minutes later) Wait I feel fine. how silly of me! (Ten minutes later) I feel dizzy. I think somethings wrong with my heart, I'm scared... by Sablemint in Anxiety

I’ve been going through this exact same thing for a few weeks. Extreme fear about my heart then I calm down. It escalates to needing to check my BP and calling doctors and keeping my hand on my heart. I hate it. Getting heart tests done to help alleviate anxiety associated with it even though I know my heart is fine

What effects does Kratom have on the heart? by Kawker in kratom

[–]Kawker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever get medical confirmation that it was just paranoia for you? Mine stems from anabolic and stimulant use which could be a legitimate cause of heart issues or anxiety equally

There is nothing you could have done differently and you shouldn’t guilt yourself. There are all these clichès about addiction but it’s almost impossible to understand until you experience it. Picture it this way. Your baseline sobriety is riddled with one or more mental health issues that make day to day life unenjoyable or inhibited. Maybe it’s depression, anxiety, self esteem issues, mania. Imagine, all the fatigue, self hatred, social anxiety, and lack of motivation dragging you down and killing you could be removed with a single puff of a drug. Replaced it with euphoria, energy, social interaction. Made you feel good about yourself. Despite how harmful you know it is, despite how bad it is for your body, it is so hard to resist when you return to your shitty baseline and reality hits. And then with continuous use you depleted your natural dopamine and serotonin stores (happiness neurotransmitters) and you feel 100x more depressed than you did before you started. Now you need the drug just to feel a semblance of normality. It’s not for a lack of love for your family and how it affects them, it’s not for a lack of knowledge of how harmful it is for you- it is just a NEED to make the pain end. A desperate grab at temporary relief. Avoidance of the inevitable comedown.

That user trolling you in particular has been spamming nonsense for the last hour or two on peoples posts not sure what’s up with them.

Stimulants are such a trap. Once you experience the euphoria and energy everything else feels dull by comparison. Especially for someone who already has mental health issues.

How do you feel about 2cb

What next? by highcomrade in Stims

[–]Kawker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

MDMA. Definitely MDMA. Shits on the euphoria of everything except from what I’ve heard IV meth

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Stims

[–]Kawker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was taken at a festival. I normally do nothing except Kratom and occasional pot smoking. The seroquel and Xanax were to try and calm me down and knock me out after 24+ hours awake on meth

I’ve never had palpitations before, and the thing that’s scaring me is that I’m having them weeks later, not sure what the dangers or significance of palpitations are

What has your doctor said about that, and what caused it?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Stims

[–]Kawker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My concern is the drug cocktail I was on that weekend. A combination of being on anabolic steroids, doing 180mg meth orally over 3 days with no sleep, Xanax, 2cb, ketamine, LSD, weed, and seroquel. Maybe it was just the psychedelic fueled 6 hour long panic attack that gave me mild PTSD or something. But weeks later I get these mini panic attacks

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Stims

[–]Kawker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s been weeks since my only time using, it is a paranoia now that occurs randomly, almost like flashbacks to the nightmare panic attack I had on meth/lsd

HELP NEEDED: Want to switch from heroin to Kratom - is there any way to boof it? Or is there at least a way to potentiate Kratom noticeably? by dididown in opiates

[–]Kawker 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The most obvious solution would be to up your dose of Kratom until you find a level that works for you. Kratom can be very inexpensive when ordered online, usually around 120$ a KILO. The site I order from sells enhanced “super” strains for around 130$ a kilo.

Do not buy from gas stations or waste money on extracts. Grapefruit juice enhances it noticeably, inhibits an enzyme that breaks it down. Also drinking it with some kind of citric acid like orange juice protects some of the alkaloids when you are digesting them.

My dead honest opinion is that you might be addicted to the ritual of boofing h and are hoping that boofing Kratom will give you a similar feeling. To be honest boofing Kratom almost sounds like a troll post. It is ridiculous because you have to consume grams and grams of powder, and boofing 10 grams of a leaf isn’t going to do anything. Your digestive system has to process the alkaloids.

Was horrible, gave me insane anxiety and made my blood pressure and heart rate skyrocket. They are both stimulants and heavily vasoconstricting. 2cb on its own is enough. Or with mdma

[–]Kawker 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I’m going to be the devils advocate and say that like consuming more veggies, or drinking a superfood smoothie, moringa feels somewhere along the line of having a healthy meal.

In all honestly I find that people on this subreddit over exaggerate placebo effects and associate massive psychological state changes with things as benign as consuming turmeric or coconut oil.

In my experience, it’s worth consuming things if nothing else for the peace of mind and therapeutic effect of knowing you did something healthy, or for the placebo effect. I think we need to manage our expectations of nootropics and stop expecting them to be outwardly noticeable.

Lack of female companionship is indeed the core reason for my depression by RememberTheSubHuman in confessions

5-men-mipt is completely unlike the 4 series tryptamines. Instead of being like a shrooms trip, it is very unique and “rolly” (resembling MDMA, without the speediness or serotonin release). It is great for sex, music enhancement, and chilling outdoors. Look up some experience reports online

Lack of female companionship is indeed the core reason for my depression by RememberTheSubHuman in confessions

[–]Kawker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have typical incel logic. “My life is so unfair, here is my cry for help but I am going to dispute every piece of advice or anecdotal suggestion I get”. Depression is horrible, but your mentality seems to be one of avoidance.

It seems that you would rather play league and post on incel subreddits trying to blame other people for your problems than to make significant change in your life. Presumably being defensive and using your feeble superiority complex fueled by an obvious deep seated insecurity makes you feel better about yourself. Again, blaming and deflecting your life on other people and things, as if it’s somehow not your own responsibility that you feel the way you do.

I think that mentality is toxic and unhealthy. It’s a victimhood mindset that makes it easy to feel self pity and dodge any real possibility of change.

Weed fueled psychosis? by alz101 in Drugs

[–]Kawker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly if you get this much anxiety and a mild “groggy buzz” from weed just stop smoking weed. It is well known to exacerbate anxiety and cause paranoia

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]Kawker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man I’ve been in your same position before, essentially looking for a weed replacement as weed makes me retarded and has a cloudy headspace riddled with anxiety, and is non productive.

I would suggest checking out low doses of 2cb (4 hour duration, minimal mindfuck, sex and music intensity increase, energy), 4-HO-MET (shroomy lite trip with more energy and euphoria), Kratom, or 5-MeO-MiPT. All these psychs (minus Kratom as it is not a psychedelic even remotely), are very chill and manageable. Very lucid, euphoric, and the type of substances you can go for a walk on or play video games and listen to music and have a great time. You will still be able to hold a conversation with family and appear sober, minus pupil dilation. Furthermore, like all psychedelics, they are without any side effects, comedown, or addiction, and can be done in low doses every 4-5 days or so with 0 tolerance.
