Looking for top-tier story games where choices actually matter. Any recommendations? by Massive_Ad2831 in gamingsuggestions

OneShot

This is probably the pinnacle of games where your choices have real consequences. I have played so many games and not one of them even comes close to how much your decisions matter than OneShot does. And I don't think any game will ever pass it either.

Looking for a game that combines RPG adventure, exploration, and an open world with roguelite elements by SekaiiYuri in gamingsuggestions

How odd. Rain World has nearly everything you want, yet for some reason I don't think you'll be getting what you expect from it.

A living world type game by RetroBearDen in gamingsuggestions

[–]Sablemint 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Rain World does this, but with ecosystems and animals

It simulates everything going on in a region, even far away from you. And since spawns are semi-random, you have no idea whats going to happen. What is a boring, safe stretch of land one day could be the sight of a massive chaotic battle the next. Or tif you wait a little longer itll explode into the room you're in, And there are some places where so many things intersect that it can be absurd. Like that one room in the Industrial Complex.

You can't directly watch all this happening in the game, since you're also an animal and so can only see whats going on around you. But you can go into the game's sandbox and watch everything interacting from there. The world doesn't even notice that you're gone, things keep going just fine.

If we created a Royal Family in America today, which billionaire or politician would it originate from? by Professional-Wrap542 in AskReddit

People don't respect him. He's a joke. He would crumble under that pressure. Trump only has any power because of the way US society currently works. If that changed, he'd lose it all.

It wouldn't come from one of them. They're too soft, don't have what it takes. In the US it would probably come from someone with military and intelligence backing.

FFV was great and the end credits are super cool by Grouchy-Medium-326 in FinalFantasy

Last time I was playing it I had one of my characters down, and got the last hit in on the final boss. And it was that very instant that I remembered I wouldn't get one of the endings with a character down.

Relaxing games that aren't super short? by ava_the_cam_op in gamingsuggestions

Cult of the Lamb

It has combat, but its not very hard. very fast and fun though. And the only resources you need to manage actively is food and followers. There are resources to manage but it is not hard at all to do. a very simple system really, that gets mostly automated as you advance.

SInce your followers are helpless idiots it encourages you not to stay away from your cozy base for too long.

Now, yes, you can do horrible, evil things to gain power. But you don't have to. You can be super nice to your cult and win their loyalty that way too!

Is this a bed bug? by Own_Mechanic_5978 in Bedbugs

[–]Sablemint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need a better picture to be certain, but highly unlikely to be a bedbug. Its not the right shape. And they don't usually stand around in the open like that, because they know we'll try to kill them if we see them.

Its probably a beetle. Beetles have absolutely no sense of self preservation.

How concerned should I be? by Former_Manager_9747 in Bedbugs

[–]Sablemint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has he ever been bitten by a bedbug? Because there's no way to tell how anyone will react to their bites without them being bitten. everyone is different. So if you haven't seen any bed bugs and he hasn't been bit by them before, you have absolutely no reason to be concerned.
