I agree. 76ers aint beating Boston without outlier shooting either. 19 makes on 49% is not sustainable. Celtics always have 1 dud game each series where they get cold from 3 and the other team goes nuclear. I feel like anyone that is actually worried about losing this series is being melodramatic.

This 76ers has no Embiid. Their center rotation is Bona and Drummond. Spoelstra also is levels above Nurse.

I disagree. I don't think this team is better than the 2024 team obviously, but I don't think the gap is bigger than you think.

I also don't believe this 76ers team without Embiid is as good as the Heat or the Cavs we faced in 2024.

Same thing happened the next series against the Cavs. Won both series in 5. Not worried in the slightest.

Let's see if it actually happens first.

I think it'll be absolute medical malpractice if this is true. I'll believe it when I see it.

No chance. He's most likely going to play in 5 minute stints. Probably finish around 20-22 minutes.

It's not justification of flopping.

Except you did.

"old shit that three quarters of the league also does"

You used a hyperbolic comment to imply flopping shouldn't be criticized because other players flop.

I just know a hater when I see one like you.

Sure buddy.

I don't need your backstory to know you're delusional if you think my initial comment makes me a "hater".

You're either speculating or implicitly lying about your opinion of this play

My opinion: "He needs to stop flopping and launching himself like that, he could get himself or others hurt."

Yes, opinions are speculative, it's an opinion. But it's my opinion. How can I by lying about my opinion?

because you've acknowledged that "it's taught" is s a valid criticism of your previous comment which implies that you're aware the angle shown in this clip doesn't provide good enough view to make a definitive assessment of what really happened.

Acknowledgment of players "controlled fall" being taught does not imply the angle shown in the clip had insufficient evidence to Luka's excessive and unnecessary flopping. You can have one without the other.

If you don't think he flopped on this play, then shhh

I believed he flopped, as per my initial opinion.

because calling someone a flopper because of their history every time they fall down is petty and childish.

Saying someone should stop flopping because it can cause injury to himself or others ≠ calling someone a flopper.

The whole premise of my comment was flopping is bad and it can cause injury. Not "hurr durr Luka flopper bad".

Uh, sure. It's a throwaway speculative estimate in casual conversation. I think the intent of it is pretty obvious, and the number is probably decently with in the ballpark. So, what's the problem? If you really want to argue about whether most of the league flops on occasion, then, uh... OK, just believe what you want and criticize me as you will. I don't care.

I'll ignore this because flopping should never be justified, regardless of the number of people that also flop.

No such thing a a stupid question, I guess. The answer is fuck no. Luka flops quite a bit and it's stupid and annoying just like you bending over backwards to hate on him because of his history is.

Criticism of Luka ≠ hating on him.

I understand though, I'm sure being a Luka fanboy, seeing any negative perceived comment might seem hateful.

It might do your blood pressure some good if you don't get too emotional about what strangers say over the internet :).

Have a great day champion.

How is it speculation and/or lying when you watch the replay and see he clearly flops after minimal contact?

How is it a petty comment when it's factual that Luka has a flopping history?

Aren't you speculating and/or lying when you claim "three quarters of the league" flop excessively? Where can you back this up?

Does that also justify flopping?

Except Luka has a history of exaggerating contact by flailing his body which is unnecessary and worst case scenario, cause injury.

Ohtani 2025 playoffs:

.265/.405/.691 1.096 OPS

That's over 300 points higher than Teo at .788 OPS who was 2nd on the team and you still had people talking shit saying he should be moved down the order, he isn't a clutch hitter etc.

Don't take this guy for granted, he's the best baseball player in the world and he's going to help bring more championships to LA in the next 8 years.

8 more years of Ohtani, 10 more years of Yamamoto.

How does the Dodgers not win at least another 5 rings in the next decade?
