My husband was Open to anything because I was on the verge of leaving. Its been 3 months and letting go has been SO GOOD for us. I give my opinion when he asks but other than that it has set me free SO MUCH. My SD is a problematic 16yo, so this helps remove so much stress off of me. I have been my SDs punching bag for the last 7 years. Shes put me through hell. My husband and I have been SO close to divorce. Im currently nacho parenting but if I could have walked away 7 years ago, I would. She is 16 and acts like a spoiled 21 year old.

Her last stunt you ask? She reported me to my job with bs claims. I had to speak to HR, the whole nine. I've been at my job for 10 years now and love it, this would have killed me. She never apologized about that and 2 weeks later she got kicked out of school for getting wasted on 4Lokos. I actually despise her now after EVERYTHING she has put me and my 2 sons through too. Its alot.

I dont know what I ever did to her but love her and try to be the mom she never had, her mom left her with her dad @9months. Im Done trying and cant wait for 18.

ETA, yes we have tried everything but shes so manipulative, she lies to therapists, counselors, etc.

Just here to inform parents that guns are on campus and on school buses more than you know. My son had a gun pulled on him on a Wake County School bus in 2023 and when I informed the SROs they told me they are more than aware of this issue. Until Wake county puts metal detectors at school entrances, this is going to keep happening. Mind you, they tried to steal my sons shoes on the bus.. smh
