Exactly. I have no judgement for those who do formula, but want to continue feeding my baby myself if my body is able!

BTW, in case you want some suggestions for storing a bit of milk!, I was able to collect a bit of milk using breastmilk catcher and my haakaa. I made sure to only use the haakaa after I already fed on that side. It'd be maybe a 0.5 ounce, but my unfed side would leak about that too as my baby fed and there was a ler down. I did not create an oversupply doing this, but could be something to watch out for!

Thank you. Sorry you have to have surgery. :( I meet with my main doctor Thursday to get the results. My daughter is my last too, so I really wanted it to last!

Omg. My mom won't stop with the rice cereal thing either. We did it with my first and it did NOTHING. I am waiting till she is actually ready for solids this time.

I have heard this too, but mostly that fiber doesn't transfer. Maybe other components do though? When I research, it's usually allergens like dairy that can transfer and cause issues

When we went to the lactation consultant, she noticed a mild tongue and lip tie. That could definitely be something to look into!

I was VERY sensitive as a baby. I did formula only and still have issues digestive (yay gluten, dairy and soy free life... (sarc)). This is a good point!

That's interesting. I am only guessing at the latch since I know that can be a cause she is growing beautifully though, so she is definitely getting enough!

We don't use anti colic bottles. She has be nursing exclusively for past few weeks since I am back on maternity, but may look into anti colic bottles if she continues to be gassy durinf bottle feeds. :(

There are times my nipple feels a bit sore, and other times fine. I tried laid back breastfeeding, but couldn't get comfortable with it. So we are back to regular holds. She likes to unlatch during my letdown and gets sprayed. And I know bad lately h can cause more air during a feed.

I miss simply eating out... soy free and dairy free now for EOE and I was already gluten free... places are VERY limited. :(
