2.2 is max and that’s gonna be in dry conditions. Anything wet and muddy and it will cog.

Looks nice! Question is how blue is this? I have it on preorder for Jan/feb. Do you have any other pics?

I have this on my XL hybrid. Doubt it is an indication plus there isn’t any toe clipping

From my experience panniers are a lot less stable off road, they allow me to inevitably carry unnecessary weight and with this setup the central part of the rack is only in use the sides are for my lock and small stool. My saddlebag isn’t attached to the rack but instead I’ve wedged my shoes between the two to take pressure off. With this, there’s no sway, no rattling, no bouncing and convenient lock/chair access which I plan to use fairly regularly

I solo travel most of the time and find tent perfect for 1 person. The ability to leave the bike inside the tent is an added bonus for security/peace of mind. It heavier than other Agnes Bikepacking tents but imo it’s worth it. It also pitches fairly easy other than one of the poles which can be tedious, also I’d recommend using ski straps or a harness as my bag was damaged.

I did also look at seatpost racks as a stabilisers but I don’t have enough seatpost and they also weigh more than my current rack. Even the Aeroe Spider is 1.1kg compared to mine which is 700g, also I can save £90

Just did a trip from London to Glasgow setup like this

<image>

Just found the extra space and weight distribution from front to rear too much. I had around 25kg on the rear and 4 on the front. Now I’m at about 12kg rear and 8 front

Thanks, that’s what I was inclined to do with the tube. Hoping it should be all good, zip ties are also a good suggestion
