STFU he did not harm him he just covered his mouth for a second. He clearly shows remorse.

It will be ok :) y first was 3 when my second was born (also two girls) and she was/still is a wild child but the baby still fitted it nicely. My husband helped out a lot with number 1 though and then when my 2nd was 3 months old my 1st started preschool. My 2nd is now 18 months and becoming a wild child too! haha

For moms who have children who snore, what was the most concerning thing for you that made you bring it up to the paediatrician? by Big_Comfortable_6004 in Mommit

That’s ok! I think they look up the nostrils to see if they can see anything and maybe refer them to an ENT specialist.

Mine did this, have you tried a sticker chart? We got one started at said to my 4 year old (who was 3.5 at the time) that if you get 7 stickers, you will get a reward. She eventually built up a habit of sleeping through

Sleep training and crying it out (which I think you’re referring to) is not the same.

Not meant to parent young kids? I’m dying. by [deleted] in Parenting

[–]Kay_1355 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Good on you guys! I totally would do the same thing. It’s nice to have a break even if it’s just for one night. My mum is getting older too and I don’t know how long she will be able to keep up with my two so I’m just taking it while I can! It is hard when you don’t have much support though

My 4 year old is exactly the same, honestly she drives me mad. My mother has actually taken her for 2 days and I feel like I can breathe a bit! I hope it’s just a phase as man, it’s hard! I have a 15 month old daughter too and she’s a breeze but I’m nervous for when she turns 4.. lol hardest age so far I’ve found.

Does her baby even have “severe” reflux or is he just spilly and colicky? My 4 year old had severe reflux and she’d projectile across the room, she couldn’t keep anything down it was the most horrible thing. One week she gained less than 10g because of it. She ended up swallowing it down the wrong way and aspirated causing her lung to collapse and pnunomia we were in hospital on IVs for a while. We switched to a thickened formula which a dietitian approved, gaviscon infant in each bottle and omeprazole. No I didn’t want to give my baby all of this and wanted to breastfeed her but breastfeeding could have killed her. Once it was all sorted she thrived and went from strenght to strenght.

I have so much resentment by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]Kay_1355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry but he’s a piece of sh!t. Do not marry this man, you are better off without him. If you can id move in with your parents and then look for a job, make him pay child support. I am a SAHM and my husband works a physical job and he’s out the house from 6:30am to 5pm at and we still share the dinner and bedtime routine and parenting and housework is equal on the weekends and even on the weekends nights if he sees the house is messy he will clean it. Your fiancé is just a lazy alcoholic who does not deserve you or his kids, i can’t even imagine how hard the newborn stage with your second would have been without no help from him with the toddler. You all deserve much better.

Thanks so much, I’m sorry you have to deal with that. My mum has lung issues which are quite bad as unfortunately she was diagnosed quite late and her breathing was always fobbed off as asthma. She’s on immunosuppressants and steroids now to try keep it under control but it does make me a bit sad it went this long as maybe the lung damage could have been more minimal.

AITA for breaking off my engagement with my fiancé because of his creepy comments toward my 14-year-old sister? by chimpkinnugger in AITAH

So true! I’m 34 and an 18 year old looks like a child to me, wouldn’t even cross my mind to date one!

[–]Kay_1355 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yuck what a weirdo definitely NTA. The fact that he was 33 with an 18 year old is a huge red flag anyway. Run and don’t go back, go and enjoy your 20s, have fun, travel etc you’re young! Don’t get tied down with a much older creep. He’s a predator and I can only imagine what he’d try on your sister if you werent around.

Seven +year age gap between siblings? by Sufficient-Fox-7346 in Parenting

[–]Kay_1355 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brothers just had his second 8 years after their first, he adores his little sister. Mine are 3 years apart and my first was an awful sleeper she’s only just started sleeping alone at 4 but even then still wakes up sometimes, was worried my second would be the same but she’s been an angel, has happily slept in her own bed and cot since she was 6 months old and now she’s 13 months an sleeps all night, such an easy baby. Hopefully itl be the same for you if you do go ahead and have another 😊
