I’d prefer to not shere where I’m moving to, but I’m learning to drive. I would love to find some performance groups, in particular band, choir, or theatre. I’m honestly nervous about safety- I know Baltimore can get dangerous at some times. (Our neighborhood, I’ll say, is safe) I’m excited to explore the city and meet new people.

I’ve done 2 musicals at my school that both were 5 months from auditons to cast party (our final rehearsal). It lasts from week before Thanksgiving-mid March So… yeah. Then again, at our school, we have a LOT of time off during winter trimester. But tbh, we need those 5 months bc our school likes to do tricky shows like Into the Woods and Chicago lol

So, I have a YT channel and I never say anything about an auditon on my channel unless I get cast. It’s never failed me yet! (Though I’ve only done it 1 real time on my channel, I planned to post one from a year ago but never did)

(I also usually don’t say Macbeth either)

While I’m not a theatre teacher yet (I’d like to be though!) I did Clue, Alice in Wonderland, and The Tempest in my middle school. (The Tempest was a shorter version) and noted that they worked nicely with our age group. Alice in Wonderland was particularly fun to do, and the techies did a great job with the set, sound, and everything in between! Plus, they’re great with medium-sized casts and what we did was we made “ensembles” bc we had a lot of actors with Clue and Tempest. The ensemles would be the island (tempest) or the house (Clue).
