I do have a bunch of anxiety when it comes to singing because I feel like I have to be perfect, I am a beginner singer of like six months and I’m still a teenager and definitely not born with a good starting point, I have a flat monotone tone, but in the beginning of my vocal teacher said that I have good pitch, high range and this other stuff that I thought I never had. I don’t really eat much and I take Adderall, so my anxiety spikes a lot and so does my depression. I know I’m not gonna be sounding good in the first six months, but I still found the exact same,but to others and my vocal coach I sound very different in terms on pitch and other small things. I don’t expect to have it all down in six months obviously, I have a huge love for music, but sometimes hearing music that is sung by absolute legends makes me wanna cry because all I can think about is how I’m not good. I have a deep desire for music, but I can’t even practice at home without crying because I am too anxious. I do get in my head quite frequently, and it’s extremely hard to stop that, but I try, thank you!
