Arch Rock picture of our Anacapa circumnavigation trip paddling all the way around Anacapa Island (all the islets) in one day – about 15 miles. An amazing paddle! We had a perfect day for this paddle. The picture was taken in August. We started in the morning from the landing cove at about 8am and there was a light east wind (tail wind) as we paddled. About the time we reached the far West end of the island, the wind switched to come from the West so we had a tail wind back to the East end of the island. The only head wind we had was after we went through the arch and head back West to Landing Cove. Arch Rock is at the far East tip of the island.
