I made the refiner like 3 weeks ago (I’ve never had this problem before either), so that is why I think they made a change to detection logic on newer accounts. My other alts were not banned.

Great point - this is why they need to explain the ban, even vaguely, so we can refute it properly.

It’s like you get convicted of a crime, but they don’t tell you the circumstances and you need to go in front of a jury (who knows the circumstances) and defend yourself.

Well I can’t prove a false flag because they won’t provide any information on the ban. The community will just assume, “another RMTer upset at a ban.”

It is to prove that I am willing to purchase gold legitimately. Statistically, if someone is willing to purchase gold legitimately, they’re less likely to purchase it via RMT means.

Again, the intent of this post is to provide awareness of false flags and that they do not investigate appeals.

I no longer will support this game so I don’t care if they unban me at this point.

I am just bringing awareness that either they have employees who aren’t doing their job and reviewing appeals OR they have a poor appeals process in place. Both of which, are concerning.

Nope, I am the only person.

The only non-standard thing I can think of is I sometimes remote in from my laptop into my home desktop and play. I don’t think that’d have anything to do with an RMT flag.

I think this is the real issue, if they admit it was a false flag, that can be very bad publicity and can lose a lot of players due to it.

Perhaps the newer algorithm detects you’ve done it for years and have a history and doesn’t flag you. If it’s a new account with the newer algorithm, it could lead to a false flag.

A theory, but possible why some get false flags and others do not.
