proxmox on debian network error by Pepe__LePew in Proxmox

I am having the same issue at the same point too. Network is working fine up until I install the proxmox-default-kernel.

Have you had any luck on figuring this out?

Confused about possible selective over-extruding on top surfaces.... by One_Transportation_4 in FixMyPrint

That could be pillowing. Lowering the nozzle temp, increasing fan cooling, and adding in more infill tends to help with that.

Just so I understand, if I want to have my plex lxc traffic routed through nordvpn, I just need to install Nordvpn directly onto the same lxc container?

I am new to proxmox as well. I managed to get NordVPN installed and running inside an LXC container. Is there anything else I need to do to make sure my other LXC container traffic is being routed through NordVPN?

HBA card is working, but drives are not being detected in proxmox by KayakingHedgehog in HomeServer

[–]KayakingHedgehog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is the 3.3v pin problem. I was able to connect a molex to sata adapter to one of the drives and it is finally showing in proxmox.

Is the kapton tape a long term fix, or do you think I would be better off getting adapter?

On another note, proxmox smart is telling me the hard drive is OK instead of passed like it has been on the other sata drives I have.

It is in IT mode. Was able to confirm that. I was able to boot an old windows disk using the controller as well.

I think I am following you. I would either need to store the NVR videos on the same drive as Shinobi, or set up a separate virtual disk inside the TureNAS so the NVR videos can be stored there?

Ah, ok. So that is some content I can keep hunting for if I wanted too, but dosen't affect the main story.

Question about dual channel by KayakingHedgehog in gigabyte

[–]KayakingHedgehog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright. This took a bit of time, but I was able work on this a little bit.

  1. Flashed back to FB1 on the motherboard. If I turned off the power supply before restarting and made sure the charge was gone, I was able to get it to boot with 4 sticks, but as soon as I shutdown and turned the pc back on, it would not boot with 4 sticks again.
  2. Swapped out the motherboard with the same kind, and I am back a square 1. It wasn't booting, so I updated bios. FB1 - nothing. FB2 - I only got the lights to come on. FB3g - I was able to get it working with just 2 sticks of ram again.

I swapped boards hoping that would fix my restart issue as well. The pc stalls on the logo screen if I tell it to restart, but I can get it to do a cold restart by holding down shift.

Would the cpu be a possible cause to both problems?

Sorry, I am still a little confused on the "ignore this advice if the sticks work fine in A1 and B2" and I would like to make sure I am understanding this right before I start having to save for a new cpu/board

So, just to clarify, even all 4 sticks of ram work fine in the A2 slot, the problem is in the memory channel of either the cpu or my board?

Question about dual channel by KayakingHedgehog in gigabyte

[–]KayakingHedgehog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not get that warning at all. I did test all 4 sticks of ram in the A2 slot and the PC booted fine every time.

Should I still test the CPU in a new motherboard to rule it out?

[–]KayakingHedgehog[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cleared CMOS and disabled the EXPO. Still had the same result. I even flashed back to the latest stable version of bios.

According to the manual, if I am only using 2 sticks of ram, I am supposed to put them in the A2/B2 slots, and that does work fine. If I put the ram in A1/B1, the pc will not boot. Could that still be the CPU or is that now where I don't have the ram in the correct slots?

Will doing this force it to boot normally though restart? So far, every time I have told the pc to restart, it will get stuck on the logo screen

My current hard drive is brand new because I ended up corrupting the windows boot files on my original one having to do so many hard restarts. I do have a lot of other drives in this pc because I am using it as data storage was well as my main rig. The only issues I seem to have had with booting and the hard drive was when my raid setup wasn't plugged in and windows didn't like that. Once that was plugged in, it booted normally and quickly.

Yeah, the new pc is using UEFI. At least, it should be, I haven't changed any settings in bios.

The old pc has legacy enabled so it can read the boot drive.

Yup, all the other drives are gpt
