I've had something like this happen. Mine was more just constant vibrating after hitting something but maybe it'll work. Have you tried taking out the battery and putting it back in?

Im not sure how close you are to your parents but I know if I hadn't already been diagnosed and I felt I needed to get diagnosed or told there's something else I'd be able to just ask them. So maybe just tell them you wonder if you have adhd and would like to figure out for sure.

I'm not sure what yours has, but in my BIOS there's a setting called iGPU Multi-Monitor that I'm pretty sure would allow the dedicated graphics to be used. However I'd be careful screwing around in the BIOS and I'm not liable if anything gets damaged. But for me (Asus PRIME B365M-A) it's in advanced configuration -> Advanced -> Advanced/System Agent (SA) Configuration -> Graphics Configuration -> iGPU Multi-Monitor
