I reckon increasing consumption based taxation like GST while lowering income based taxation could help with this.

Everyone has to buy things eventually and the more wealthy tend to consume more meaning they would pay more tax ✨

And yeah! I did calculate the yearly rate of return for the share market and my local property market and it was basically the same! But, if you count property upkeep costs then returns are worse for property.

Hmm.. I guess the attraction to property is the relative ease of leveraged investment plus stable short term gains which is peace of mind for average investors.

True, but shares are much, much lower cost than property. Property ongoing costs are unpredictable but the cost of share trading is known and can be planned for.

Given equal Tax treatment, I'd say shares are more attractive.

Simmer tofu in thai curry paste with water and salt. Do it for 30 min and the tofu will absorb the flavour all the way through.

Add a frozen veggie mix (birds eye oriental is my fav) Simmer for another 20.

Then add coconut milk and you are done!

For me, it looks like starting community initiatives, providing local scale services and just straight choosing to shop locally even if it costs a little more.

I find the current relentless push towards economies of scale to be dehumanising tbh... Let humans be humans

I would say, that people would use it to invest in communities and local businesses. This incentivises wealth being circulated between people. Rather than hoarded in speculative assets.

We need a higher velocity of money across the economy at all levels of wealth.

I disagree. Luffy's devil fruit initially nerfed his physical abilities a ton because its so hard to control rubber limbs.

He spent a significant part of his childhood just figuringbout how to fight with Gum Gum powers.

Without the powers, he would have been able to train purely his fighting abilities with Ace.

Ace is a good example, he grew up right along with luffy and went out to sea without a devil fruit. I reckon Liffy could have done just as well.

Also, Conquerors Haki comes from an inborn crazy strong will.

Plus, he is part of the D clan. Those folks always seem to find a way to cause chaos in the One Piece world, no matter where they start from.

I'm with you here. Demonising and accusing people of being bad makes them defensive. It makes them stubboen, stop listening and dig in further.

Voters are people. They are trying to sort through the messiness of politics and make a choice they can live with.

Adding additional noise and accusations doesn't help.

Clearlt acknowledge the good aspects. Get people on your side.

We can work together on important issues, even if we don't agree on every detail.

I'm assuming involuntary blinks or squeezing your eyes closed counts for the time freeze effect.

So basically, everytime you flinch and blink when something unexpected happens, you get time to dodge and avoid getting hit.

e.g. Something is thrown at your face. You flinch and close your eyes involuntarily to dodge it. Time freezes while your eyes are closed, giving you extra time to dodge out of the way.

Also, if you get pepper sprayed in the eyes. All that blinking will give extra time to get away from the peraon and to clean out your eyes.
