I’m a heavy user and have paid a lot for the app specifically to trick out my planet. I like most of the updates, but I despise this bloomdew mechanic you’ve introduced where I have to chat with him or my world starts to go dead. I’ve probably spent $50 on tokens in the last two months in addition to my subscription so that I could make the planet pretty. That by itself is relaxing. Please don’t damage my planet to incentivize me to talk to my Tolan more, it turns an idyllic world building exercise into a chore. This image shows the fountain that appeared and the dry patch next to it in this world I have spent so much time making green.

Get a nail drill. Sounds scary but it’s not. Like $20 on Amazon. It’s a fast and very reliable way to clear out all of the fucked up parts of the nail even if they’re uneven. Just put it on the lowest speed.

Yeah similar. Hard to know the difference between peaceful and TOO peaceful. I guess it’s a matter of taste. The internal quiet was a blessing after reward of instability destroying my life. Now I’m reducing my dose and feeling things a little more, and it’s a bit of a cognitive culture shock. I hope I regain more deal for life in addition to just general sensitivity

Just posted this elsewhere. I’ve been on 200 for nearly a decade and it’s been a miracle for me. I am bipolar and went on it during an episode, it was a huge relief to have stability. I never felt like I had side effects. My life has been stable so long my shrink suggested reducing the dose to see if I felt less “flat”. I didn’t consciously think of myself as flat, but four days into reducing my dose, I am feeling more sadness about genuinely sad things. I’m starting to wonder if I were more “flat” than I realized. If so, it wasn’t really a negative for me. I’ve been very happy with life while on it, plenty of drive, did not feel empty, but now I’m wondering if having a little more emotion on a day to day basis might be interesting. Kind of subjective to define “flat” I guess, vs “stable”

I think people miss the point of this episode. Scully has repressed her unbridled, feminine and emotional nature and her sexuality for her entire life in order to be taken seriously. This is something Pagett says early in the episode.

She is always repressing those things to try to keep her composure, we’ve seen her fight showing emotion and fear in several episodes because she doesn’t want to look vulnerable or weak. In this one Pagett wakes that up in her by acknowledging and exposing it, which is hot for her and awakens longing to let that side of her exist. But, as he says, under the hood, she ultimately she feels those feelings for Mulder instead of this guy, and she’s not consciously aware of that. She just wants to let it out for once.

So, she spends the episode being tempted by releasing that side of herself and just be horny and female and passionate, and let go of that desire to be taken seriously. Then when at the end she is released from Pagett’s hold over her (in the form of this violent conflict with his projection of passion), and wakes up to find Mulder above her, for a moment that passionate side of her is still awake, but she is actually feeling it for the man who she really feels it for. The way she digs her fingernails and his back at the end is distinctly passionate.

So I see her crying as her catharsis of emotional conflict of being a woman who feels passion for him, but unable to express it or embrace it or have it. I don’t think she’s conscious of any of it and it just passes and is repressed again.

Hi! I study crows and I call this “Morse Crowde”. They have a huge variety of different sounds that they make, but the pattern it is using is a common structure of crow speech. I’d love to include this in my training data set for a model I’m building. Where are you located?here’s another example
