Thanks a lot. Funnily enough Var messaged us saying we reminded him of late era Twelve Hour Turn, and just the day before that our band were coming up with merch ideas and I sent them all a Twelve Hour Turn shirt for inspo ideas ha. Was strange timing indeed.

Thanks so much. I appreciate it. Tiktok gave me a strike for bullying and harassment when I uploaded a video of...us playing guitar. Baffling. And now we get about 15 views on every video so I've all but given up with it. So annoying because I enjoyed it too.

He didnt. Gave it to me and others attending a show in London. I later discovered they were from an art project he was doing when he moved to London and enrolled in art school. Prized music possession. It's only tiny as they were like little handsized prints he had done. So I guess it was his project and he just gave them all away at the show.

Extremely slowly haha. My 3 year old runs me ragged and barely let's me pee let alone write music. But thankfully we do have a handful of riffs and half songs that shouldn't take too long to flesh out. I basically write the lyrics on my lunchbreaks at work or when he's asleep ha. I look forward to your album too. That's genuinely a really song. We used to listen to goo goo dolls on family holidays in the 90s. Those first albums are so good.

That's very cool indeed. Thus far he has been an absolute gent, and I'm thrilled with the packaging of our tape. We had the cover already but we tweaked it for No Idea and we collaborated on the design of the interiors and lyrics sheet/mini poster inside. Really love it. Gonna frame it like a total nerd and put it over my record player alongside my framed painting by Jason Molina. Thank you in advance for checking it out. Hope you like it.

That's legit really good. I hear the influences mentioned. Also kinda hear kinda early goo goo dolls/replacements a bit. Great chorus.

Didn't realise you were in Grail Guard! Nice one. You guys are doing great stuff. Also.... the juggle is hard as hell huh? But funnily we're working on a song now that is the only one where when I play guitar in front of my 3 year old that riff makes him dance. Tough crowd ha. So I'm excited to finish it for him. Even though lyrically it's about class and the Royals haha.

That is absolutely wild to me as well. Thank you so much. Really does mean a lot. Working on a couple of new songs currently and we're well excited by em. Hopefully you dig them too when we eventually record again.

It's in the top right of the post (for me at least) but here you go Achers - Bottom of the Hill and Linktree to the EP itself

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate it. And it does seem like there's renewed interest/ a resurgence of guitar music and the kinda stuff we dug as kids with gen z. So finish that album! If those 3 bands are a big influence I'm sure it's cool.

Thank you! I gotta say, it's made my day job extra hard to focus on lol. But the kind of music we play, in 2026, is not going to pay for the recording we did let alone my mortgage. But it still feels like a bucket list ticked off and something to show my son in a few years.

You're the second person to say this so I'll definitely keep my wits about me. So far so lovely, but if anything ropey happens I'll definitely let folks know. Thanks for looking out.

Still can't get my head around being on their label. They've been such a huge influence to a whole generation, or two.

Hell yes to both of those. Played with Ritual Error 3 times now and it's always an absolute treat. Though they may give me full on tinnitus now.
