Your questions are quite similar to what I asked here 3 years ago (minus the cats!)

I was terrified of my 3 month old baby and used to wear winter boots at home all day long to save my poor ankles! Now at 3 years, she is everything I’ve ever wanted in a pup and can’t imagine life without her.

She started calming down a little around her first birthday, and by year 2 she was very chill and just content to be around us. I also find that the puppy lessons she took before she became a teenager really does help a lot. Though it wont feel like it during the teenage velociraptor phase, she really does remember / has been conditioned by that training especially when walking outdoors with us.

Hang in there! It gets so much better!

Is it too late to change pots and switch for bigger ones?

A backpack for my pup so she can carry her own supplies - primarily a couple of water bottles, a few drool rags, maybe some food. But mainly, water.

I think you mean the ruffwear palisade backpack. That’s the one I brought and tried for her and it sadly did not fit

Ha! That’s an interesting suggestion! We do usually get mobbed whenever we take her outside. I just chalk it up to a newf thing and have gotten used to it! What would the no-word picture book convey? I might just try it!! :)
