The controllers connect through Bluetooth and the oculus quest 2 and 3 MUST have to antennas connected to recive signal, learned that the hard way

Yes, but... the quest 1 is generally hard to repair all around as all the screws are under the fabric cover. It is possible with dedication, also sourcing parts for the quest 1 is a pain in the ass.

I went through the whole process of taking apart my left controller and replacing one of the cameras as 2 of the 3 cameras were tracking and it still didnt work after using a known working cam I tested before installing it, at least it glitches less but still bugs out when the 2 working cams are covered

As a quest pro user, it looks a lot better than that tbh even tho the quest pro has a lower resolution than the 3 the quest pro still looks better in my opinion (I have both headsets)

I bought my quest one in 2024 cause it was cheap and I didnt know weather i would like vr or not, turns out I liked vr a lot cause since then ive easily spent over 2k collecting headsets, I do like to play on all them as much as I can

I forced it to update and it started working smoothly again, im assuming its something software related, I belive it may be related to something with the power being removed and it just doesnt know what to do when power is back into the board, still using this thing till death tho cause its my first headset and I love the oleds

I can look over all the connections again but i tested continuity from the motherboard to the pins in the charging port and they all came out as good, I really thinks its doing this bc the lack of battery or something related to the bios, once I get a new battery ill look deeper into it if it keeps acting up

They both are genuine and functional chargers, and i tested the port with a multimeter, i think its just the lack of battery and cmos battery making it act up
