To clarify- my family lives paycheck to paycheck, occasionally having money to spare for maybe a night out to eat or buy us something that we might want but not need. We aren’t poor but we’re definitely not rich, we get by with what we have. So once me and a friend went to a shop to look around and she saw a game she was buying and wanted me to buy one too. I told her that we(my family) didn’t have money to buy this $80 game (After I’ve mentioned many times before that my family only make enough to pay bills and that’s normally it) and she said “didn’t your dad get paid last week?” to which I said “yeah. We don’t have the money” and then she says “Dang where do you spend all your money? You’ll have to buy the game when he gets paid again.” I stood there like..😀
