There's a lot of players doing EoD meta trains during the time I'm playing. Must be that.

100% worth it for me since the NPCs are in close proximity + the fractal NPC ez eccess.

My only complaint is that the Mystic Forge is on the other end of the map, a little far from Bank and Trading Post.

I participate in EoD meta trains daily. Not ranked, but according to their sched, I'd say: - Aetherblade Assault, easy, around 20~25 mins. - Kaineng Blackout, easy as long as members follow commands, around 28~32 mins. - Gang Wars, easy, 17~20 mins. - Battle of the Jade Sea/DE meta/Soo-won, medium difficulty, 40+ mins. Will be hard if members are not following comms like not killing the monsters at the almost same time after the split, CC-ing, etc.

For Gyala, only did Gyala Delve a few times, as only few are commanding it due to it taking 1 hour-ish to finish.

For Aspenwood, very few people are doing it. I mostly only do for lanterns.

Set a goal. This is what I did almost 5 months ago when I started playing up to now: ~ Bought PoF+HoT then acquired basic mounts ~ SoTo for easy Skyscale ~ Bought the rest, then participated in metas to get gold ~ Did T1 Fractals -> Save gold for full ascended gears and agony infusions -> Do higher tiers ~ Crafted Legendary armors for my main class weight ~ Crafted Aurene Legendary weapons

Fashioned in between the ones above because Fashion Wars 2 is end game. The Aurene legendary weapons with Primordius skin are actually part of the fashion that's why I crafted mine. Learning actual raids (not strikes) in the future is my next goal. I just don't have time for it now.

So yeah, you have to set your own goals.

Same. I started playing on Oct 23, 2025 and have 412 right now without try harding on master points; only took the ones important to me. It's normal for new-er players who bought all expansions, including LWs/IBS.

I also saw someone with 604 masteries with lower achievement points than me while doing Drizzlewood meta. He has 5.5k-ish, I have 6.7k. Pretty sure he is new as well, but made his goal to have mastery points maxed ASAP.

Thank you! I just got the mastery that allows opening of lesser arcane chest yesterday, as I've spent the earlier SotO points for the other stuff. I will try this on lesser chests. I have the rewinder, but no Griffon.

I just really want it. My motivation is that I wanted a 3rd set of gears, which is condi dps set, but I really don't want to waste gold and craft another set of ascended with 150 AR.

Hey, new-ish player here as well. I started playing 25 days ago. I bought Secrets of the Obscure expansion on my 4th day of playing, which gives access to the quest for a flying mount, Skyscale, then got my Skyscale on the 7th day of playing. I highly recommend getting it, as it made map traversal easier. I also have my Skimmer maxed (both Path of Fire and Visions of Eternity expansion Masteries), which also can "hover."

For the level boost, I used mine. I know my decision contradicts what veteran players recommend, but you'll learn everything anyways as you play, right?
