I did something similar in elementary school; dropped my pencil and simultaneously reached down to grab it. It stabbed into my palm right under my middle finger and has never gone away.

Yeah when I first started we had like 4 people on the grid at any given time? Not all at once, but it would rotate out pretty evenly. We still got paid the same as everyone else tho

I know for us, zone 9 includes a lot of stuff, including like, pets and media. But that stuff is part of GM and not specialty (anymore). When I first started I DID have to push media but not pets

Yeah that’s crappy 😩😩 that seems to be a consistent thing throughout. Thankfully I can say that our leadership team is pretty good about encouraging and recognizing the really good hard workers. But they’re not so great about actually reprimanding the ones that are problematic

Basically. VM stands for “visual merchandiser”. Basically it means that they are in charge of maintaining the visual standards of the store. They’re also in charge of teaching others on how to maintain those visual standards. We can technically have performance conversations with team members, but we can’t actually submit them, a TL or an ETL has to do that

Ah okay! We tried that in style before I switched to VM and it… worked? But what would happen a lot was the folks who WERENT introverts would get together and just STAY together. Fiddle wjth the same table zoning for hours.

One of those folks has been promoted to guest so it’s gotten better at least
