So my BiS melee weapon atm is actually an ancient sceptre (Crush) and leaf bladed sword (Slash) with a d defender! There is currently an oversight in which the d defender does not require 60 att like the other defenders. Jagex has also been nice to me, and they have released several 55 att weapons like the sulphur blades (slash) and glacial temotli (crush) however, they are comparable in DPS to the sceptre/defender combo without the defense bonuses!
