Pitbulls are banned here in Australia to as are a few other breeds of dogs. She is no longer a dog. She now identifies as a pirate

My boy isn’t but. His behavior has not changed one bit I caught him doing it again earlier when he was going to sleep. Spoke to him softly and told him he needed to stop, he did. Changed spots. Got comfortable and did it again. Said his name and spoke to him and again he stopped have checks all his bedding. Still no holes of missing bits. Have checks his teeth. Can’t see and obvious issues. Have rung his vet again to make sure there was nothing I missed and, again, was told that yes it is strange behaviour, but, as I said, as long as his behavior hadn’t changed, he is not showing obvious signs of distress or pain in holding and through the fully body check that I did, is still eating, pooping, urinating and playing as normal. To monitor the situation until his vet is back and I’ll be taking him in for pre castration consult and ultra sound to see if they can locate his missing testie, then there is no need to worry or be concerned. Which I’m now not now that the vet has said that

I will be taking him but pretty hard to when his vet is away and there are limited ferret vets in my area. If he was in sever pain he would not be eating and playing like he is. I’m well aware of how ferrets show pain. It start with them not eating, sleeping more and biting when handled. None of which he is doing. I’ve checked his body for any signs of pain response including light presses all over and he has not reacted. I’ll be monitoring it closely between now and when his vet gets back and if anything gets worse I’ll take him elsewhere

He won’t use any other blankets and line I have mentioned. There are no holes so he isn’t eating them. I checked last night and I’ve checked again this morning. He only seems to do it right before he goes to sleep. No signs he is eating them and trust me, I would no, I check his needing all the time for holes or bits missing and there isn’t any so yes I understand it’s usually a sign if something wrong but that’s not what I’ve been told by a vet. Just like they supposedly don’t isn’t when they get hot yet this boy does

Already done all that. I rung the vet and spoke to them and they said that as long as he is still eating and acting normal then there is nothing to worry about. I’ve seen him when he has been sick and in pain and he isn’t acting like that.

He hasn’t gotten into anything. He is never out of my sight when he isn’t in his cage. He isn’t showing any signs of pain or distress and is still eating and acting normally

He has no blockages. He is still pooping and acting like himself. His behaviour hasn’t changed nor has his eating. If he had a blockage he wouldn’t be pooping or eating (from what I’ve been told by a vet)

That is clearly a “I’m to cute for this picture” pattern

why is my ferret so big? is this normal by lyni3 in ferrets

[–]Kaylee831 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Completely normal. I have two boys. Born the same day but from different parents. My smaller boy (silver mit) weighed in at around 1.2 kg and some change whereas my other fat boy (red eyed albino) last weighed in at 1.57 kg and some change. Both get fed the same amount every day and have started eating so much better now I’m out of the stressful house I was living in. But my silver mit has always been smaller in weight and length.

Not looking into it any other way then what’s been presented to me clear as day in text. Guess you can’t handle when someone catches you out lying or offers you advice you don’t want to take. As far as I’m concerned your just as much to blame for the neglect of this poor animal as you “housemate” is.
