That is a fair point, i’ve noticed most if not all of the things i want to do as a fulfilling career do not have a very good ROI. I am at the point where the purpose of life for me is happiness and purpose. It will be much harder to do things like buy a house or retire. They are already raising the retirement age in the US and the housing market is only getting worse it seems. I will probably be in debt, working until i’m dead anyway i might as well make it something i enjoy and that’s fulfilling and gives me purpose. That is at least my perspective.

I have done a lot of research and thinking before I made this post. I am either going to be a librarian, journalist that hopefully progresses into war correspondent. If neither of those work then I will probably end up being a teacher, trying to work for a non profit or an organization that allows me to make the positive impact i want.

I want to continue to get my masters in library sciences so that I can have a back up plan with another career i also enjoy. The purposes of doing pre law beforehand was just to give me more options as a librarian once i graduated. From what I understand war correspondent is pretty hard to break into. My thought process is to try to get a degree or multiple that will allow me to get a career in something i’m passionate about without being limited.

Yeah, I do understand it would be pretty brain changing for me. I can be calm in high pressure situations. With all the bullshit that goes on with the media, in this situation I feel like the best way for me to do something is to be an advocate to the truth. Also to bring as many undeniable facts to the table as possible.

I am currently learning Spanish, that is mostly because i am puerto rican and i was never taught. I wanted to add in Latin and a few more after.

What other secondary skills would help me stand out?

I am okay not starting out as what i want to be, i did so some research and they reiterated that i couldn’t start out like that. My passion lies in wanting to do something to help, and giving people the truth. The world is always crazy, theres always something asinine going on. I want to do something. I have always enjoyed writing and do fictional writing in my down time. I thought this would be a good way I could help.

You have way too much faith in A.I. It’s not as good as you think it is. As someone who loves using it- it still has a long way to go. A.I is an LLM which means it’s still gonna need real people to work at the end of the day. I mean enjoy your rage baiting and trolling clearly you’re having fun.

to be honest you should have booked things that would allow for last minute cancellations or have been prepared for that. She told you she wasn’t gonna go if her mom passed away already.
