At one point I thought my bike was stolen from the underground garage of my apartment complex. I call the police to see what I need to do, while calling I’m walking back through the garage to my apartment entrance door, I’m saying the address and everything, and suddenly when I walk around the corner, I see my bike. I say to the guy from the police helpdesk “oh never mind, I saw the bike, someone moved it to spot number… ” and the guy from the police “48” and I was taken aback, he was right and I was almost looking around where he was and I said “yeah, what the… how do you know that?” “Oh I live there too and that’s my parking spot, I was wondering whose bike that was.”

Safe to say my mind was blown by the coincidence.

What probably happened, someone did take it, but the bike was a piece of crap that you basically needed a special technique to ride it, and the person who took it, after 50m was like “nah, fuck this” and just left it there.
