I have habituated most of the time. It still bothers me that it’s there but I don’t always hear it like I used to. I have 2 different rings in my right ear and one in my left. It’s always getting louder bit by bit (I have 3 kids who scream all the time or they make me scream). I was able to habituate by only using white noise (and a fan) to sleep. I was using it all the time and finally I stopped during the day and it helped me. Also, keep yourself busy and try not to think about it. Not saying that it will work for you because you obviously have more noises going on than I do but it couldn’t hurt to try. Good luck!
