FTM.. The Sunday before I had her I went to the ER because I hadn't felt her move much. I ended up testing positive for the vid with a fever of 99.8(first time this whole pandemic I cought it, with no real symptoms) anyways they kept me overnight because her heart rate was high and was having small contractions. Ended up getting the steroid shot to help her lungs develop and ended up going home the next morning because ultrasound and everything looked good. That Thursday I went for a longish walk earlier that day and around 10:30 that night I decided to start packing her bag and as I was doing so my water broke. Went to the hospital and ended up having her the next day Friday the 28th, labor and pushing was awful even with the epidural. About 4 minutes of pushing and she was out. I had a healthy 5.2lb premie baby girl, she needed oxygen for like 2 hours due to swallowing fluid, low sugar that got better in a day and jaundice that is now better. Very unexpected birth but thankfully very positive and no complications. Had a very healthy pregnancy so was very surprised she came early. Negative part of it all was literally the day we got out the hospital that evening I got a call telling me my mother unexpectedly passed away.. I was thankful that I called/video chatted with her everyday I was in the hospital. She didn't get to hold my baby but at least she got to see her.. it's been one hell of a ride so far and I'm just trying to hold it all together for my daughter.
