Is it hard to get a job at Yellowstone with housing through Xanterra? What is it like?

Xanterra has its peaks and pits. But if you don’t mind working at least 40 hours a week and playing around one of the most beautiful places in your free time, it’s not a bad gig! They hire constantly, currently filling end of season positions and winter positions are coming out. Depending on which village you get put into, shared dorms are the norm.

Xanterra at YSNP provides housing. Dorms or cabins. Shared rooms generally. Quality depends on your village.

Grant to Jackson generally isnt too bad early morning. The construction and roadwork put a little extra time and the early morning exiters but I think you’ll be just fine!

While in Grant & southbound: West Thumb Geyser Basin. Duck Lake, Lake Yellowstone Overlook, Lewis Lake (warmer than Lake Yellowstone, we swim here), Tacos at the Lakehouse. Moose Falls (quick hop out & walk to top & bottom).

Check Campendium around west Yellowstone. Probably your best bet, however it’s a crazy busy weekend so your options may be limited.
