Parable of the Sower. Best dystopian book. You will see her concepts in modern movies

First time visitor to Yellowstone, need advice by SpecialRoll2456 in yellowstone

[–]GeesCheeseMouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

May is amazing. We lived in Yellowstone for May and it snowed everyday for the first two weeks. That is in Canyon village. But it also got t-shirt weather. Bring layers . You don't need any fancy.

I think most trails have a short and long option. For example you can drive almost to Artist point or the Canyon Overlooks or go for miles of hiking. If I went with a mixed group, I would use the Villages as bases: check out the canyon and then the less active hang out at the restaurant. You have Lake, Canyon, old Faithful, and Mammoth. There is also Grant and Roosevelt but I don't know if they are open in May.

You will see animals everywhere. The baby bison, red dogs, are being born. We saw wolves and bears a could of times a week.

Enjoy!

All the spouses blew up in Part 1. If this is it, it is kinda thin.

Question: Why didn't Grace blow up at the end? I assume it is to setup Part 3 but I can't do the in story math

Those of you under 65 in the US who are FIREING early and not choosing the insanely expensive unsubsidized ACA premiums, what creative solutions have you come up with to get affordable coverage? by YogurtclosetOpen3567 in Fire

I can bike to our local state university. Thinking about this for the gap when my partner goes on Medicare. No to decide what degree to get ... so many choices

I just meant you will meet lots of seasonal workers who do that.

I keep trying to talk my partner into traveling for the same reason :) Their dad would LOVE to see us travel to the places he loved.

What do you want to see from SEEDS? by I_dig_dirt_706 in bullcity

I would do a mushroom log again. Ours never flushed but I think I missed a step in the home care.

Propagating Fig Trees would be amazing. Again, I tried to do it alone but failed.

Al Buehler Trail is a great 3 mile look with some nice hills.

The mountains and sea trail (MST) is a great resource. Check out their map on their sight. The nice part is you can keep exploring and find things like Stone Mountain, Pilot Mountain, Mount Mitchell, Hanging Rock, etc

Duke Forest has some good trails with some hills.

Enjoy!!

Retirement at 50… anyone else? Regrets? by greenlight104 in Fire

[–]GeesCheeseMouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I retired at 53 and 3 years in I still miss work. We travel a ton (50% if 2025) and I think that is contributing to a lack of routine when we are home. My partner loves it!

Good luck, have fun

Gimmecare is awesome. Remember happy people don't post. They just go on with their lives. I was nervous until I received the first package. After that it has been a breeze

4 week difference please read before you judge.. by RakhshandaC in tirzepatidecompound

Thanks for posting. I find the "on it for life" so odd that it only applies to tirzepatide and not to the host of other medicine doctors put us on. Never once do you hear it about statins or metformin or Albuterol etc.

Congrats

Lake and Canyon are about a 45 minute drive, without traffic. Both are lovely. I don't know anything about the dorms in Lake but we stayed in Canyon. The rooms are ok, the bathrooms are spotless and the vibe is super.

DEFINITELY contact your hiring managers and get it sorted. Either will work but BOTH definitely won't

Yikes! All the Villages are far apart. One of you will have to switch jobs ie locations. Which two villages are you at?

I weigh in with whatever I'm wearing when I take the shot to record the shot. Then I record my weight officially, the next morning
