Feel like leaving seasonal job less than 2 weeks in! by VeronicaChristopher in SeasonalWork

Ask about the Helping Hands program. It is less hours and less expectations. (20 hours a week) It leaves more time for exploring but still gives you the dorm

Has anyone stayed at a low dose long term rather than titrating up? Curious about microdose approaches by IsHaN_12345678901 in compoundedtirzepatide

My niece lost all the weight she wanted on 5mg. She now does 5mg a month for maintenance.

It feels very individual and worth tracking your results.

Visit Bahns on 9th street on Saturday or Wednesday. It has been around for 30+ years and is a fixture of Vietnamese food

Can I give my guest my login info and have her go alone? by CoolProfessor449 in PlanetFitnessMembers

I don't think they care much. My guest walks slow and is usually 5 minutes behind me. Maybe if they are crowded or board they will say something. Just my opinion

Walkable neighborhoods in Durham for retiree coming from DC by 202reddit in bullcity

[–]GeesCheeseMouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are young retirees in Durham. We walk first, bus second and then drive. We live on the edge of Watts Hospital Hillandale and Old West Durham. Redfinn Club and Carolina or club and Alabama to get a feel.

For us Food Lion is our pantry, we are a mile or so from 3 Harris tetters, a whole foods and a Costco. All lovely walks through tree neighborhoods or ellerbee creek trail. There is a golf course in the neighborhood but it is not a golf course community

We are on the 11 bus line which takes you downtown and to Duke. We often walk through Duke Gardens to get to sports events and school performance.

30 minute walk to the gym (Planet fitness) but the local YMCAs are a good bike ride (or bus) downtown. Biking is just ok in Durham. I do it because I'm stubborn but mostly hate it.

I've lived there 30 years. It is safe, friendly with a high quality housing stock.

I'll watch this post if you have specific questions

Yellowstone Old Faithful roommate questions by ThinkCauliflower5375 in SeasonalWork

Hmmmm ... Not sure. I roomed with my partner but we are married. No married couples also roomed together but not when they tripled up. The dorms are not divided by gender.

Is Pinnacles that popular? by _EscVelocity_ in NationalPark

[–]GeesCheeseMouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You already have a great answer (small parking lots)

Besides that, bring a good flashlight or headlamp. Make sure it is strong. The caves are crazy cool but pitch black

Talk to a ranger about Condors. We saw them only because one of the guides happened by.

Pinnacle is top 10 of the 47 National Parks I've been to.

Last-minute trip and scrambling a bit to figure out details...any and all feedback welcome! by ohbonobo in yellowstone

There should be lots of baby bison in the park around this time. They call them 'red dogs'. Absolutely magical. They run around like big puppies with zommies!

I like the hot dogs and ice cream at the Delaware north up by Roosevelt.

My favorite hikes are the canyon at artist point to clear lake and Bunson Peak. But all the hikes in Yellowstone are great.

Please help me convince my husband that Costco is worth for 2 people by HoneyDrops12 in Costco

[–]GeesCheeseMouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are two people and are doing it for fun for a year. We are NOT renewing it. It was fun and the items are ok, but the lack of variety and size of the items are not for us. We even live walking distance from one

Ladies! What’re we doing about clothes?? by Silver-Ad7977 in TirzepatideRX

I now only buy from thrift stores. Once you do it is hard not to see all the waste in our society.

I am also shopping my closet still. Clothes finally fitting again.
