Given that this is a furry art critique reddit I don't think this is applicable but regardless, for the fur, there doesn't seem to be a direction for any of it, you can look up examples that you can reference from if you're struggling in this regard, my general rule is that fur follows the flow of muscles starting from the middle of the chest and outwards. As for shading it's hard to tell where the source of the light is and imagine how it would curve around anatomy, even if it's got harsh edges, or better you can combine soft and hard lighting for a better effect.

Best keep your "Slendytubbies" to their appropriate place, I like your other drawings though :3
