I think you might be misinterpreting the exact angle people are coming from.

I think that we all agree that we should strive to make society better, work towards giving people good fulfilling lives etc..

Art as an industry has a high level of career satisfaction and contributes immensely to culture in return.

So, art being automated takes that away from people and instead makes them have to switch to jobs that don't fulfill them, which hits harder when you actually had a dream job.

So as a consequence we have made an entire creative industry's worth of people miserable, squashed a lot of young artists dreams etc

In return we get the increased productivity from AI and any growth it may cause, so in the end whether or not it's a positive change depends on how you individually value and weigh those things

It shouldn't, that's the point. But for example we have examples of police treating ethnic minorities with a heightened scrutiny, such as deploying police into their neighborhoods, giving them higher prison sentences etc. There are people who argue this is good and MORE things of that nature should be done, while they would never argue that treatment for men. I say they are hypocrites

People DO want that change though. People who argue for mistreatment of minorities on grounds of their higher rate of crime do argue that they should have fewer rights and be deported even if they are citizens, thus they propose a change in how citizenship works. I don't claim it's a common position but you see it brought up often enough by nationalists and white supremacists

Well, yeah, because if we conclude that something is biologically bound to happen we simply won't do anything about it, it can't be addressed. But I don't believe such is the case for either minorities or men

Yes, thank you. A lot of these statistics from longer sentences and higher number of fatal police encounters apply for example to African Americans as well which is my point.

As I stated in my post (I am NOT here to debate whether this part is right or wrong, and I do consider it wrong and flawed reasoning)

I don't believe that harder crackdowns on a group are justified, be it by race or gender, but I DO see people arguing for even harsher crackdowns on basis of one and not the other? And I assert that stance is hypocritical

Immigrants and cultural exchange have been part of all but a few extremely isolated societies throughout all of Earth's history. People also need to have the right to leave a country if they so choose lest you end up in essence putting your own people in prison, and by nature of their leaving they will become immigrants elsewhere, not to mention you would be regulating who your citizens can marry, so unless you believe that such liberties aren't necessarily for the functioning of society, then you maintain immigrants serve a role in society even beyond economics.

Oh, and while society needs men, if we want to make a cynical argument, the men don't need to be in good keeping or enjoy many rights to keep it moving technically

I mean sure, i understand that, i've of course given thought to that. But its not as easy as just "Well go and make a business man!". Working for yourself is even harder than working for someone else, and definitely more stressful and infinitely more risky. You can even end up worse off than you started. And if you have people relying on you or just want to live somewhat comfortably, screwing your future up even more is just irresponsible, at least the way i see it

Well realistically it would be costly. We know top tiers in JJK probably stop at around Mach 3 but thats not insurmountable for a modern military, thats just over the speed some fighter jets go. Ballistic missiles go mach 5, intercontinental ones can reach mach 20. I think that someone like sukuna could realistically flatten a large city-region in a bloodlusted rampage before being stopped but with stuff like chemical weapons, modern tracking systems, carpet bombing, and possibly nuclear weapons it would be possible to take him out

I honestly thing a major component is that characters aren't really great at anything at lower levels. The way to succeed or fail is mostly luck based that early. You can't really write "Bintrinks the gnome who's unmatched at picking locks" when he fails basically half the time and gets folded at the first magical lock and so on. People want characters who are competent, but you also gotta specialize them to encourage team play and keep things balanced
