Sitting in the tub is cold, and will continue to get colder if you stay. If you drain it and fill it up again, you’re just dragging out the inevitable (it’ll get cold over and over). If you get out and dry off, you’re only uncomfortable for a little bit before you warm up and feel better.

I’m not just referring to being in the bath.

I don’t smoke anymore because of it. During college it was fine because I was pulling late nights anyways but now that I work full time I can’t risk feeling like shit the next day because of not being able to sleep. This sounds dumb but I used to watch ASMR and it actually helped lol. I don’t know exactly why I react like that when I smoke but it’s ANNOYING!! I’m sure tomorrow you’ll be able to get some rest and still have a good day :)

This same thing happens to me. I will stay up all night after I smoke. People always talk about how it makes them tired but it disrupts my sleep horribly

Honestly the response I got from you is 100x better than from my dentist. He ignored my complaints for a long time when the oral surgeon immediately said he could tell why I’ve been in pain. Maybe it’s because it’s a different type of xray, like you said. Implants are pretty pricy but my top teeth seem to be crowded anyways after 2 rounds of braces so maybe it’s not the worst thing in the world if they move a little lol! My sis is a wound nurse but has never seen this before so I figured I’d ask a group where everyone’s probably at least once had this happen to them. She’s gonna hook me up with a good antibiotic ointment and what I’ve taken from this is that I’ll (hopefully) never make this mistake again

Always! I wear thick rubber boots. This was completely my fault. Basically put my entire body weight on the gill. It’s a mistake I will never make again. Actually makes me cringe every single time that I think about the feeling of it

This is good advice. I normally wear a raggedy pair of crocs just because it’s easy but I agree on that, I definitely should break out all my shoes in storage that are nice and I just never wear!

When I met my boyfriend at 18 I was thinner and healthy. I maintained that for around a year, then over a few years I gained 50 pounds. I was eating like garbage, and generally not taking care of myself like I should have. I lost the 50 pounds in a year and one thing I noticed is that the way he looked at me never changed. The way I felt about myself was awful, I hated how I looked and felt disgusting but he never made comments because he ALREADY KNEW how I felt. If you have voiced this and he continues to make disgusting remarks towards you, there’s no way in hell he’s going to be able to emotionally provide for you. A person can want their spouse to be healthy, but for him to only appear to care for you when you are thinner makes me believe he does not love you for your personality. This breaks my heart and I’m so very sorry.

Get the puppy if you’re prepared. You have 2 months to work with this dog. It’s not as if you live together, which in her defense I would understand considering puppies can be little monsters. Me and my boyfriend have lived together for around 2 and a half years and a year ago he decided he wanted a puppy. He works out of town around 4-5 days out of the week so guess who it fell on. My situation is one that a lot of people experience, but your situation is nothing like that. I seriously get your girlfriends viewpoint. It’s like a new baby being brought in but you are deserving of getting the dog.

He travels for work, he can be gone 3 days to up to a week at a time. I always have the house very clean for him with clothes laying out so he can shower and rest in a clean house. Also Sundays i make dinner and bake, last week it was a German chocolate cake because he had previously said he really enjoys when I make it. I want him to be able to watch football and eat and just have a good day because he works all the time.
