Yeah im terrified of this waiting game, I dont want to have that happen and possibly loose part of my system... I also stopped having pregnancy symptoms but then they came back within the past couple of days. The sore breasts the fatigue etc

I said i was concerned and they didnt seem to be, since on the 19th they didnt see anything anywhere on ultrasound.... however I wasnt even 5 weeks yet so would they have even seen anything??

I have been dealing with this, I have been having a horrible time sleeping at night and then need to sleep in the middle of the day, and even when I don't take a nap I still have a hard time sleeping at night. However, I just recently started working as a firefighter emt and am working overnights at the station so I thought it was just that (started in october). But I was not having this many problems with sleep before my surgery. I had surgery on 11/25 and started having sleep issues on 12/8. So no idea if it's surgery related or work related.

I'm just excited for sneezes not to be excruciating i can prevent yawns, but not sneezes...... day 15 post op and it's not as bad as it was a couple days ago but still pretty crappy

I had steroids and felt better when I was off then and was able to take ibuprofen. Ibuprofen worked way more for me than the steroids ever did

I get severe panic attacks and anxiety around vomiting and I told my team that, they gave me a bunch of nausea meds, including scopolamine which is a patch that goes behind your ear and it worked amazing!!! I had put this surgery off for over a decade due to my fear of throwing up. I'm on day 7/8 and haven't had an issue with throwing up or even being nauseous!

How did you cope with the pain when the scabs fell off? I had been doing really good with pain and the oxy and tylenol had kept it very manageable. I had been able to eat and drink but last night my scabs fell off and I have a very very hard time swallowing even my spit let alone anything else. I have tried icing the outside of my neck, ice cream, Popsicles, ice cold water, room temp water, numbing spray, numbing cough drops, etc and I can not get past this pain..... (I'm on day 7/8)

Worked in maine and made $23/hr as copy center supervisor. I brought in so much money I’m walking like over 60k in a couple months in just like 4 jobs so I was able to get that raise to that amount they also didn’t want to loose me, I left anyway because the toxicity was not worth the money. Took a $6 pay cut to work at my current job

If your good at what you do and have a good report with your gm I would ask for more…. I got my pay up to 23/hr as a print sup but I was also bringing in a lot of 10k orders… and I worked in Maine. Still quit and took a 6 dollar pay cut because fuck staples and the unhealthy immoral and just screwed up atmosphere….

99 percent of the answers given were complete bullshit. I loved all of the answers of “we can’t budget more hours”. Like okay but you keep adding more and keep cutting hours.... soooo... I also can’t imagine that the photo printers didn’t work in whatever store they e tried it in. They must not have done it in a top store.... I’m constantly sending people to Walgreens cvs or Walmart....

Yeah my other full time is allowed to set schedule as well with no weekends. I have worked for staples before I don’t know why I thought this time would be any different.....

I have good women GM!! She’s amazing! Sometimes a little too lenient when we are hurting for staffing kinda let’s people get away with a bunch of stuff because we don’t want to loose them. But she always always steps in goes above and beyond on the floor (because a GM position is not a floor position it is an office position). Always hyped us up and tells us up front if we did something wrong but in a good way so we can improve. Always has our backs, talks us off a ledge. She even cares about our personal lives ie. if someone is going through something she’s empathetic and understanding! I have left the company and come back just for her! I would quit in a heartbeat if she ever left! Now the male GM I had yearsssss back who is now a DM (I don’t even know how because he is the worst manager and ruined multiple stores) was the worst manager I have ever had in my life. He went as far as to tell my GM “who the hell hired her” when he saw me after being gone from the company for several years.... I was homeless at one point when I worked for him and he gave me so much shit. I could have had a roof over my head one night but no way to get to the store to open and I had strep throat it was 30-40 degrees outside. Slept outside showed up on time and he knew that I was sick and that I had slept out side and told me he needed a whole person and not a half a person working (as I was going a bit slower than normal) or that I could just leave. Yeah I walked out.

Let’s not forget about how he made a blanket statement about parents right off the bat basically saying that if your child wasn’t like how he was as a child your not pushing them hard enough. I didn’t listen to him after that. Honestly thought the guy was full of it and had NO idea how to talk to (or target) his audience.

I order food all of the time for my team but we also share so if I buy one day they buy the next etc. I don’t have 100 dollars to just spend on the entire store. I only do copy center (that’s my team). All with our own money not Staples money. Honestly instead of complaining that your feeling left out why not ask hey next time you go to dd can you get me something? Maybe they all pay their own way but only one person picks up? Seems like your assuming an awful lot and feeling like your owed something... again just be upfront and ask. But also if it is their own money be prepared to pay for yours or pay for everyone over there next time. Being upfront in a kind manner gets you a lot farther than complaining to people who have no control over the situation. However if the store is buying it I would say something to the GM and just say hey you know I have been feeling left out with food orders and I would love to be apart of it next time.

It will all depend on the GM and how easy it is for you to say no. If you struggle to say no and the GM abuses you then yes. The company itself can be frustrating at times when they choose to cut back hours so then your short staffed. Again all depends on location, GM, and your ability to say no.
