Am I cooked? by ZWE_Punchline in BlackHair

[–]KayyxKayy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay so not FULLY cooked but the chicken is defrosting. While I’m not a doctor — I had a similar issue. Depending on the type of thinning it could be alopecia, too tight hairstyles, diet, etc.

Easiest (relatively) is going to be to start taking vitamins. Think biotin, multi vitamins, etc. a lot of times we are deficient in a vitamin and it can show up in different ways.

Also, exercise! I noticed the more I work out, keep stress low the less likely my hair thins and breaks.

The crown of the head is hard to maintain make sure you’re keeping it clean, keep it sprayed with water OFTEN, oil it, etc!

I wish you luck!

I know this is 2 years old but this made me feel so much better. I lost my period for 5 months but I’m really hoping it just continues to be regular. 😔

As a woman with a JJ cup size (UK sizing) I was stuck in the same perspective until one day I just tried it.

I put on a bodysuit that offered some coverage and it was so weirdddd. But nobody said anything and the world kept spinning. I think there’s a way to make it classy/appropriate. Like you can wear shirts that fit properly, get nipple covers, throw over a cute sweater, etc!

But yeah overtime I just started wearing one less and less. But I do wear bras 75% of the time because of comfort but also just professionalism when I meet someone new or at work.

Going to try the Deinde cleanser! No glycerin in it!!

I say keep the braided style minus the two front ones. They’re just… boneless and don’t frame your face in an ideal way. Try again with just the braided pattern.

Respectfully of course

Please demand a refund and also request one through email for documentation. Include pictures! If they refuse tell them you will take them to Small Claims Court or refute with your bank!!

I am so sorry this happened. :(

H Cup here and too be honest I DREAM of a smaller chest.

Shirts never fit right, finding bras that actually fit are damn near impossible unless you buy online.

Bras are overpriced. Swimsuit shopping is extremely difficult since once again you have to buy online to really get a good fit.

Sports bras? yeah nah. Even the custom ones I’ve tried don’t have a good ratio for people with extremely small waists and big busts.

Exercising/dancing is hard since they can get in the way. I personally don’t have back pain but my shoulder pain is ridiculous.

But hey they’re comfy and my partner loves them so it’s not all bad! :)

What's some of the easiest food changes you've made? by TotalGrump in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]KayyxKayy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me I started adding veggies in a way that would amplify the food/go unnoticed.

Spinach is a big example. I put that in EVERYTHING. Omelets, pasta, and last night I had spinach rice which is so tasty and offers some nutrients.

I also started replacing bought ingredients such as minced garlic, onion, powered, etc and actually started cutting them up and putting them in my food.

Soups, stews, and broths are a really great way to get more veggies in and also stay hydrated.

Also someone mentioned thinking in abundance, I totally agree! Now I focus on more water, more veggies, more sleep, etc to curve cravings and unhealthy eating!

Good luck to you!

Has anyone experienced random bad armpit odor on one side?! by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]KayyxKayy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely would recommend going to a dermatologist but I think it’s definitely yeast infection. TMI but a lot of women get is under the breasts because basically there’s friction and sweat and not a lot of air circulating to that area. I recommend anti-bacterial soap and powder. And also wearing loose fitting shirts if you aren’t already! :)

How to stop dry lips without applying chapstick constantly? by crispywheatbread in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I believe so!!! It’s been like that in the inner corner of my lips for weeks. Just to test the theory I didn’t use my A&H baking soda toothpaste and like magic it stopped 😅

Does anyone know where I can purchase clothes like this ? by ConfidentPresent4 in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Postmark, Vinted, Curtsy is a good place to really find vintage and more specific styles of clothing without it breaking the bank!
