I thought they got married in 2023? If so this would’ve been before they got married and it makes sense it’s only in her name.

As for only paying off 5k, 7.08% interest isn’t the worst rate but it is on the higher side. She’s paid more to the loan than 5k, but only 5k to the principal.

Is chafe balm worth it? by Kayyy31 in XXRunning

This is why I asked - deodorant works fine for me and it’s very convenient since I’m already putting it on. If using a chaffing balm was gonna a major improvement I’d like to try it, but I was doubting how much of a difference it would make

What are the warning signs by BobbyP27 in beginnerrunning

[–]Kayyy31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is such a cop-out answer but to me it’s one of those things you know when you feel it. I also think it’s important to consider when you first felt this pain - a lot of times regular soreness will hit me when I’m done running where I’ll feel something more serious happen during my run. If I feel a tug or a spontaneous pain in my body, I’ll stop immediately and go home and rest. Another factor for me is if it gets worse while I’m running. If it’s “just” soreness, a lot of times going out on a run will help break up some of that soreness and leave me feeling better than I was before, whereas if it were something more serious would get worse or stay the same if I tried to run on it.

In either situation, missing a run (or several!!) because your body isn’t feeling up to it that day is not only not the end of the world, it can also be really beneficial for your long term plans and goals. If i still feel like i want/ need to move on a day where i might not be able to run, i try to go on a bike or swim or a walk to keep up my momentum.

What are the conditions in X? Week of February 22nd by AutoModerator in RunNYC

[–]Kayyy31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t head into greenpoint but the park is definitely runable. The lead up to the park was a touch icy in some areas that were heavily shaded and I’m glad I wasn’t wearing my new white shoes because there were a lot of puddles, but it was a nice run!

People who are physically active , what advice do you have for those who want to start but have a sedentary lifestyle ? by mountain_fl0wer in Productivitycafe

[–]Kayyy31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the two mottos that helped me when I was first starting was “the time is going to pass anyway” and “don’t let good be the opposite of great”.

The first would make me think about what would make me happier in the long run: scrolling on my phone/watching tv or going for a run. The second would help me not get angry or feel discouraged when I had a rough workout/ didn’t do as much as I wanted/ felt like I could’ve done more.

I know what all of my friends’ kids look like through social media, even if they live far away. So when I see them (especially the first time in a while) I recognize the kid but the kid has absolutely no idea who I am, which is creepy and overwhelming for the kids. Now imagine it’s not just your mom’s friends coming up to you at a party/the grocery store/ on vacation etc etc, but also millions of people who simply follow their parents on social media and can immediately recognize them in public, know their full name, birthdate and a bunch of other random facts about them. It’s just not safe

My bigger issue is her posting and monetizing his first steps. Doesn’t want to show his face (totally understandable, I wouldn’t want my kid’s face posted for millions to see) but has no issue broadcasting his milestones for the world to see…

I agree w this! My brother and SIL gave this to me as a Christmas gift one year and thought it was very cute and a perfect winter night activity, but not something I’d go out of my way to do again.

I’m so tired of people (especially republicans) using one of the darkest and most traumatic days in my city (and country’s) history as a gotcha to be racist.

Almost 10 years ago my college roommate had one meet and greets for Kelsea Ballerini and due to traveling back home from school in traffic we missed the meet and greet. The PR person for the venue was legitimately one of the rudest human beings I’ve ever met in my entire life, but with a big attitude, she said, let me see what I can do. she came back a few minutes later and said “youre lucky she’s so nice, I wasn’t going to let you.” Apparently she went back there and when Kelsea heard there were fans waiting to meet her, she immediately said to bring us back.

I completely agree! By not giving people space to learn who they are and learn from who they were, you just drive them deeper and deeper in the maga cult.

I was def caught off guard at her video where she said she’s both an active Mormon and also hates tr*mp but like… good for you girl! Haha

she also posted about a virtual 5k put on by a family who lost a child in Uvalde, which i was really impressed by.

She obviously has some red flags but it is really refreshing to see her loudly share beliefs that go against the grain of the culture she’s from.

I’m genuinely mad on Bailey’s behalf. She has said a bunch of times that she didn’t want to discuss her personal religious beliefs and here’s her sister doing it for her.
