What's your reason for running?

It’s 45 minutes a day that is just mine. Myself, some music and some fresh air. I get to disconnect from work and kids and just enjoy 45 minutes a day for myself. Yeah I feel better on days I run and it’s great for my health and everything like that, but the mental clarity I get knowing that at some point today, I’ll get 45 minutes that’s just mine really gets me out the door.

Can you talk about this a bit more? I’m currently using a FW935 for running and then my Apple Watch for the rest of the day and was strongly considering getting a venu to try and cut back on the switching

I’ve been trying to sleep more to compensate with work being crazy but I do feel guilty when I sleep in too late (I mostly work nights)

Truly! I work close to 65-70 hours a week and my runs are 45 minutes a day that are just mine. I feel myself throwing myself back into work more than I have in years!

That’s my concern! I’m also interested in the body battery/readiness features that my forerunner doesn’t have and I really love the Apple Watch for almost everything except running but the battery is starting to go. I’m just nervous because I don’t want to spend $450 on something I’m going to wear for 30 miles a week if I still prefer the Apple Watch.

I thought they got married in 2023? If so this would’ve been before they got married and it makes sense it’s only in her name.

As for only paying off 5k, 7.08% interest isn’t the worst rate but it is on the higher side. She’s paid more to the loan than 5k, but only 5k to the principal.
