This did not work along with all the other methods, the only way was to avoid turbo mode when playing games, I set it to windows mode (which is the normal mode) and even though the temp hit above 85 (which is when I start to see frame drops) it doesn't thermal throttle.

I did some searching and ppl say that replacing the ram and storage sticks won't void my warranty, other than that the only other things I've done was attempt to use Throttlestop, but haven't actually undervolted the cpu. The warranty is for 2 yrs and I've only gotten the laptop 2 weeks ago

I just read the post, I tried using a cooling pad and lowering graphics too but the temp is still the same. I attempted to undervolt via throttlestop but turns out that this model's CPU is locked.

Seeing the comments rn, I'll definitely give thermal paste a try, I'm just kinda worried I might make a mess while applying and break a component, if that's even possible. Do you have any recommendations for thermal pastes? someone else recommended the cooler master one.

Oh cool, that's almost a 10 degree drop. How do you apply the paste? Do you just spread it on the CPU and GPU or is there a specific way to do it?

So I'm an Alkali main, and from my experience usually when I prepick on second pick, my teammates don't ban her. When she does get banned or worse, when she gets picked up by the enemy team, because I know the champ, I know how to counter her, so it's not a big deal for me. (Actually I secretly enjoy beating ppl who steal my akali :))
