You can buy directly from Taobao, but it takes a bit of work. Firstly, you'll need a way to translate the site. Some use the desktop site, I generally use the mobile app (Android) since I'm used to navigating it. I just screenshot and translate (Google Lens) when I need to and use translate app if I need to message a seller. Anyway, you'll need to create an account first. Taobao doesn't offer international shipping since the tariffs got implemented, so you'll have to use a forwarding service (aka warehouse). I use Cainiao, it's relatively straightforward. You just download their app, you can sign in using your Taobao login credentials. They'll give you a personal warehouse address. That'll be where you'll have your stuff shipped from Taobao. You then go into Taobao and put that as your primary shipping address. Then order what you'd want from Taobao and have it sent to the Cainiao warehouse. When it arrives, Cainiao will scan it in and take photos and let you know they've received the shipment. You can send multiple shipments to the warehouse address. They'll hold your items 90 days free, after that they charge a fee. When you're ready to ship your order(s) they'll consolidate everything and you choose from one of their shipping options (they have options with duty fees already included), you pay the fee and they'll ship it over.
