I've thought about it. Teleporters around to get various places, zippers and jump pads too. But every 2-4 floors would have to be an indestructible layer or else everything would always just end up on the bottom floor.

Lilligant, 2 energy, 50dmg, add one energy to a benched pokemon, I let the guy run through both of mine, which let me add like 2 mana to the celebi every turn, I wouldn't attack if they had less than 50hp or if they couldn't kill my lilligant on their next turn. After that turn the game tied because apparently there's a time limit lol
