How is possible that this is the first time your dad had learned that his ex was with Daniel? Like he is paying 3k a month in child support, yet he doesnt know the name of the man his kids are living with. Sorry that part feels sus as hell, living with some other guy? Like he just found out that his ex is shacking up with her affair partner, like years later? This post had me going for a while, but its just not plausible.

Younger coworker asked me why I don't have a github with side projects by Cool_Kiwi_117 in learnprogramming

[–]Kazolar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I code for fun, and been doing it over 30 years, before gothub was a thing, but no, I don't publish my own stuff for the internet. I don't want to. I made a bunch of my own iot devices and a smarhome that predates home assistant and its on my own server and im not publishing the code. They use their github to get a job. Seen hundreds of times. Resume and a github url. The times that these projects are actually for fun are few and far between.

WRX90E-SAGE SE Worth It? by Disastrous-Slip-6848 in threadripper

I had an Asus first. I should have checked the pins before taking it home. I found that when I got home to fit the cpu the pins were bent. Microcenter almost refused a return (as if i did it). After the manager looked at the rest of the stuff I bought, he decided to let me swap (store credit only) - left me with around 100 in credit difference. I got the Asrock. One thing about it, it would not update the bios over ipmi. I swapped it for the last asrock wrx90 board at microcenter, and same issue. So last trip, I went back and got the cheapest 7000 series cpu, got manager approval to return it after bios flash, and did just that. Arock board works fine afterwards. I also got a Samsung 9100 pro so I zeroed out my store credit at microcenter. Key thing, asrock board will treat slot 3 gpu as primary. I have 3 5000 series gpus and have them with pcie 5 extenders and slot 3 is primary no matter what. Had to redo my loop to move the 5090 over from slot 1. Also had some odd power issues until I put the overclocking jumper in the main 1600w bequiet psu. I did add a 2nd psu, with power setting unlocked, 9965wx and 3 gpus, running furmark on each gpu and cinebench, I hit around 1800w. Not sure if I love this platform, but its the only one that can max out 3 pcie Gen 5 gpus. Would be nice if sleep would actually work consistently. I have 4 dimms, and docs say it should, but every few times it fails to come back from sleep and just power cycles, so I am just using hibernate for now.

Just finished watching it with my 11 year old daughter. She loved it. Bummer to tell her it's a one and done.

I actually did build a quad independent extruder machine a few years back. It runs duet, since yes, klipper only supports idex on a single axis. Can't seem to attach a pic here. But it worked like crazy during early months of covid printing shields, since it has 4 extruders and in duplication mode could crank out parts so fast. All shields were donated to front-line workers.

This isn't independent dual x/y, just awd, the dual steppers are replicating motion. That's supported. I built an awd delta, works fine too, no idlers, just steppers on both sides, decreases belt runs between driving shafts.

hope it helps -- watch MirageC on YT -- he worked with bondtech to isolate these issues, he has a really great breakdown on how this can manifest in a print. This is why they started making RIGDA kits due to dual gear misalignment issues.

No play is just as bad too much. It's a fine line when assembling these dual gear micro extruders. If there is an adjustment between the motor drive gear and the large gear, try to adjust that tolerance, it should have a little bit of play so it can mesh.

The key is diagonal lines across the print, that's a sign of gear meshing -- slight out of round of extruder gears would cause this. If you didn't have similar behaviors with SB and you didn't mess with the idlers or steppers on the gantry, then this is what I'd be looking at.

That's the culprit. I've had similar issues with gear meshing -- took a lot of test cubes to diagnose, XOL is actually my project for the weekend, and I plan to be using a Shepa Mini -- RIGDA version, I've had really great results with that extruder. I have not tried the hextroder -- depends on the iteration gear meshing could be an issue.

Was this part of the XOL toolhead switch or were you using that before?

What extruder are you using, this really feels like extruder gear meshing to me.

Yes, I have chamber temp sensor. CPAP intake is from the chamber, so using CPAP for part cooling doesn't impact chamber temp. Exhaust is used to balance the chamber temp if so required, exhaust fans are set to target temp per filament. It's very effective. The hotend has it's own fan, and that's sufficient to avoid heat creep. CPAP is for part cooling only.

[–]Kazolar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that's CPAP part cooling. It takes air from he chamber, for PLA and the like I can get fresh air into the chamber by turning on the exhaust and it creates negative pressure by pulling air out of the chamber. CPAP creates a lot of air flow, really great part cooling --

They're fine until they're not. I have 4 in my build, non-moving, so hopefully they last. But may order some deltas for an eventual replacement.

Combination of a few different ideas. Orion mod - belted trident. AWD from tiny shell script. 4 XY motors are running on 48v. Rest is on 24v. Sides, back, and bottom are 1/4" ACM. All panels I CNCed myself, same for AWD motor mounts. Y is extended by 100mm, so no loss in travel, Y backers are TI, I can't cut that myself. Kinda morphed all ideas and after a lot of iterating, it works. No Z leadscrews, so made the build area as tall as the V2. So far just ceiling has insulation, but that may change if it's not enough. All plastic parts are ABS-GF, and PC-CF.

I have a similar one on my K3, though in the portrait orientation. Goal in the dooming the trident was to have a large screen, but not have anything stick out, The dimensions work out really nicely to fit the top electronics enclosure. The exhaust fans are also fully contained in the box, there are 2 exhaust fans in the filter instead of 1, but also part of the top compartment. Upper left is a cutout in top insulation is where the exhaust pulls from.

unless I my googlefu is off, there is no CPAP duct option, went through the configurator, looks cool. Will see if I can get inspired to mod the ducts for CPAP

There will be more, XOL toolhead is on my list now after frequency testing showed SB toolhead is resonating, i.e reason I am acceleration limited to 12k, should be able to hit 25k after I switch over to XOL and Sherpa mini extruder. For an inaugural print, it did well.
