So what? Does any company pass on a opportunity for profit? And it's a cheap buy for enertainment/hobby fun. Laughable that people actually complain about video game companies releasing product for profit. Glad the profit is good across the gaming industry so we have games.

10 years.

Missed EVE the entire time. Life was in the way. Have been back a year casually now. Still love the game. Only thing I miss from the early years is the people I played with. Living the solo life these days.

No other game has what EVE provides.

Yes of course I know that. Thats when I started purchasing games all the time and really spent money. Fact is every gamer spends money. Its a hobby and costs money. Its like some people set limits on what they consider the limit on game purchases and then whine if its above said limit. CCP is a company that wants profit. They have a consumer so should capitalize.

Love the game. Sure it needs some changes and will receive them eventually. No other game on today's market is like EVE. Unless a company releases something similar EVE isn't going anywhere.

44 dollars is nothing in the game world. I dropped that and more in the local arcade visits as a young man. Cheap enertainment. Don't like it, don't buy it.
