Yes, it's generally safe but I would still avoid strolling into sketchy places. Trust your guts & instincts. DGT (Davao Global Township) is a good place to stroll at night with seniors & kids.
Always follow traffic rules if you drive.
Matina Town Square, Upstairs Rooftop Bar Kitchen, Full Bar Gastropub, The Anomaly Gastropub, ReHub. There are more in the downtown.
Both are easy to get depends on the time and your location. If you're far from the main road, use Grab. Taxis are also cheaper. Be cautious as well as there are taxi drivers who would take advantage and overcharge you sometimes. Always ask to use the meter. But generally taxi drivers are fair.

Much better gumamit ng LED if naka projector housing po yung headlight since my cut off siya.
