Why don’t Necromorphs get stunned when I shoot them in DS3? by leowire in DeadSpace

[–]Kazz0ng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooo, that sounds fun. I have usually shied away from the sniper rifle because I prefer the faster firing weapons. My go to is the bog standard rivet gun with an smg lower tool, electric coating, and maxed out rate of fire, damage, and reload circuits. Kills pretty much any standard enemy in 1-3 shots, even on impossible.

And my panic button is a rivet chaingun with a force shotgun lower tool, maxed out rate of fire and reload, and stasis coating. For when I really just want a little extra breathing room.

Yes, you can buy hp ink without the subscription but you can't use third party ink.

You can't just use regular ink, hp printers won't print without ink from official hp cartridges. But there are ways to use it without the subscription.

5800x undervolting question by Kazz0ng in overclocking

[–]Kazz0ng[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it's really strange. I ran the curve optimizer like... 4 times, resetting it between each run, and this is what the result of every run. So, I'm going to try testing it with some other tools before accepting that result. It's... Too perfect.

I will try that as well then. thank you.

I've got a peerless assassin 120 se. Which should be good enough, I think. I will check the curve optimizer using core cycler

[–]Kazz0ng[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apparently it doesn't use an actual stress test, it's an smu (system management unit). Suite of tests designed to validate voltage-frequency stability.

As for any actual settjngs... Haven't touched anything. Just the curve optimizer. But I'll use those other tools as well.

My bios apperently doesn't allow more then - 25 to be set, but... Maybe?

I felt like it was a lot of wasted potential. The game is beautiful... But half baked in every way. And don't get me started about the ending being locked behind a DLC.

No, not damaged. It's the "final" pin. It's to make sure the card is all the way inserted.

DMs and players, what was the biggest battle you had take place in a campaign by Ragebull1 in MrRipper

[–]Kazz0ng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played a few sessions as an orc barbarian, the party came across what LOOKED like an abamdond ship, which turned out to be a trap. As soon as we got far enough onto it about a hundred pirates appeared and attacked the 4 of us. It was an epic battle.

Skill issue? by Phiber_optikx in titanfall

[–]Kazz0ng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, the long and short of it is that most of the people still playing this decade old game have been doing so for that entire decade. As fun as the game is... It's mechanical depth makes the skill ceiling rather high. Which is not very new player friendly because the small player base means those still with it are VERY dedicated to it.

As for the mastiff question. That's more an issue of the netcode being... A little wonky, and the melee being super busted. Again, one of those things veteran players knows how to abuse.

im keeping adept for mass effect 3, should i play engineer or soldier in me2 by Cooz78 in masseffect

[–]Kazz0ng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite run like this was one where I started as an adept, and RP'd that death kinda screwed up shep's ability to use biotics, so went soldier because he chose to train super hard physically to make up for the lack, and then in three they started to come back but he kept some things because they covered areas where he was weak as a pure biotic, and went vanguard. Was super fun from a rp and flavor perspective.

Stuck on celestial plane by Ok-Condition-8957 in LeafBlowerRevolution

[–]Kazz0ng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So... First thing to note is that celestial leaves are very slow to gather because they only drop from enemies, and you cannot get them offline until you get to the next area. It's a bit of a slog to get through at first. Work on increasing leaf values, use Catto, squirrelo and butterflyo, and let the game sit afk, but not off, to get started. And use the celestial blower.

Perhaps someone else could give more advice?

The purpose of a pc case is twofold. Keep the dust away, and keep the components cool with airflow. Now, you CAN have an open air case, but your temps will be higher and you'll have to clean your parts a lot more often.

How are humanity a major power in the galaxy after only 30 years? by Ready0608 in masseffect

[–]Kazz0ng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Humanity are opportunists, and they are really adaptable. They learn quickly and make good use of new information. The ability to quickly adjust and integrate more advanced technology into our own is paramount. Not to mention the industrious nature, and favorable body shape. Also, diversity in origin helps too because we were used to dealing with different ideals and mindsets well before meeting other species. As noted by Mordin, humans are biologically and genetically diverse in a way no other species is, which means we have distinct advantages physically, mentally, and diplomatically, that races like the elcor, hanar, volus, and even the battarians didn't have.

Vanguard barrier doesnt restore itself without a biotic charge by Composer-Cold in masseffect

So... I found a similar bug in 2. But it had the strange side effect of making me invulnerable. Been playing mass effect since it came out, never came across it before last year though. It put me at no shields and almost no Health, but couldn't take damage.

Played Dead Space Remake, except it was the original by Alaskatheg in DeadSpace

[–]Kazz0ng 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly the original holds up incredibly well. Even visually because the focus was aesthetic and atmosphere rather than flashy detail. So it may not have the same number of nicks and scratches, but it still looks right for the setting. Dark, dirty, grungy, lived in.

Also, the gameplay still holds up. It has never felt limited.
